1983 Phoenix 38 SFX Convertible
A full featured Sport Fisherman, the Phoenix 38 Convertible was designed to be a big water fisherman while having all the accommodations of a pleasure boat. This particular vessel keeps its 1980’s charm, but boasts its recent modernized interior design. The upholstery is in excellent condition. Two Detriot 400HP engines run smoothly.
The open fly bridge features Bimini top, centerline helm, twin help seats and guest seating forward. The helm is well equipped with full instrumentation, Garmin 3210 GPS map chart plotter, Furuno FCV 582L fish finder and Ray Marine Radar, KVH Track Vision, Robinson auto pilot and Standard 2 Horizon VHF radio, two flat screen TV's, and a JBL Stereo. Below is an open cockpit with prep station with freshwater sink, tackle center, bait freezer, live well, fish box, fighting chair, coaming bolsters, cockpit lighting, in-deck fish boxes, circulating live well, freshwater wash-down, and flush mount rod holders. A transom door opens to bring a large catch aboard. Wide decks with stainless steel railing lead forward to an expansive foredeck with bow pulpit with anchor and windlass. Powered with a Westerbike Generator.
The salon in the Phoenix 38 is surrounded by large windows for unlimited views on the water while the light blocking curtains are pulled aside. The full breakfast bar overlooks the galley with his down port side. The full galley has upper & lower cabinets, Formica countertop, and stainless steel sink. Appliances include three burner-ranges with oven, trash compactor, garbage disposal and refrigerator/freezer. Air conditioned and heated with room for a futon couch as well as a lazy boy ottoman, the salon is perfect for entertaining guests after a long day of fishing.
The interior has been re-designed with style in mind. The forward Master Stateroom features a queen berth with new bedding, under-berth storage, a hanging locker, and a flat screen TV. The guest stateroom has also been re-designed, with upper & lower berths, under-berth storage, and hanging locker. The head compartment includes a head, a clean shower stall, mirrored vanity with sink.
