This Prairie Trawler 36, designed by Hargrave who designed the Hatteras, was hit by a sport boat cafe racer on the rear quarter. I bought it from the insurance company and fixed the port engine. The port engine looks like she was recently reblocked she's got a Perkins T6.354M which consume just a shade over 2gph. each. Last May I ran her over to Spanish wells the Bahamas, 520 miles, and towed back a 29 ft catamaran. She has a digital displayed Kohler generator. and I think 3 Marine Ac units. [One in each cabin] Vessel is in N. Miami and Hallandale Fl. I took the boat to the bahamas and towed back a catamaran last May. Gas Stove Nor-cold refrigeration windless Engine issues. Port motor looses fresh water after about 3 hours of light running. Probably a heat exchanger leak. I will fix or adjust the price. NBD Alternator is not charging. Defects and problems. Teak wood wood Venere on galley floor is coming up near the cabin door. google more pics on salvagor.com google some of my ideas on cheaptrawlers.com, seacultures.wordpress.com USCG/National Vessel Documentation Center 792 T J Jackson Drive Falling Waters, WV 25419 Dear USCG NVDC, RE: A Lil Leeway CG # 611727 I have not receive correspondence about my application for the change of ownership and documentation of 36 ft Prairie Trawler Vessel. On or about 2016 I made an application for the transference of registration for .A Lil Leeway CG # 611727 Today search of the USCG NVDC Database shows the Documentation has not changed, and dispite my application for Ownership documentation paperwork, the vessel remains Documented in the seller's name.Vessel Name: A 'LIL LEEWAY USCG Doc. This Prairie Trawler is a long range cruiser great for a cruising couple. At 29 foot length (LOL 34') and 12+ foot beam with 6"6" headroom in the cabin gives you a spacious feel. Sleeps 5 adults. Full galley with stove and sink. Refrigerator (runs on shore power or 12volt) , hot & cold pressurized water (100 gal tank). Large head with stand up shower. Lots of storage. Single Perkins diesel runs very strong and sips only 2/3 rds of 1 gallon per hour, overhauled 2009. 2000 hours since then. Total showing 7700 hours. You can buy a bigger boat for the money, but you cannot come even close to this boat's large interior and extreme efficient fuel burn. Over 1000 miles range with 100 gallons of diesel. Don't compare this boat to the other Prairies out there. It is much newer than it's year. It has been completely refurbed. The decks are new, the interior is new, new sliding glass tinted windows all around, new plumbing, new fuel tanks, new water and waste tanks, new toilet, new paint. New electric head. New 12,500 BTU air-conditioning, new Honda generator. New swim platform is double the width (36" wide) of other Prairies. New oak flooring. Designed by Jack Hargrave of Hatteras fame, you feel safe when stepping aboard this heavily built vessel. Wide side decks make it easy to move about the exterior of the boat. This boat is hull #1 of the Prairie Trawlers. This boat is a nice inexpensive liveaboard or a perfect boat for doing the great loop. Will consider trades. We are done with cruising, looking at go fast boats or high end RIB. Or...? Price $38,500 OBO Boat is currently located in Tampa Florida. I have a 1 year old survey available if you are interested.
