2005 Rampage 38' Express w/370 hours "Fish Wife" is a rare bright red one-owner Rampage 38' with low hours (370 original!) on her CAT 510hp C-9 engines. Contrary to some of the reported information, this boat (and all others of her vintage) actually has a solid fiberglass bottom and cored hullsides well above the waterline. Rampage did not offer the red hull as an option, so the owner ordered the boat white and had it painted with Awlgrip at the famous Atlantic Yacht Basin yard in Great Bridge, VA prior to his taking final delivery. Unlike gelcoat, Awlgrip holds its shine for a very long time. She comes equipped with all of the popular factory options including the helm ac/heat package, marlin tower, Lee outriggers, full enclosure (all new in 2012), Todd Ayers electronics package (side scanning sonar just added), helm deck icemaker, flat screen TV, Zodiac 6-Man liferaft, etc. Props recently tuned, and running gear coated with "prop-speed". All service has been performed by the same yard in Deltaville, VA since new- and all service records are available. 2005 Rampage 33' Express "Suster" is a beautiful, lightly used Rampage 33' with very low hours (@250) on her CAT C-7 460hp engines.**SEE BELOW FOR ENGINE DETAILS** She boasts a marlin tower with electronics and controls, Onan generator, Furuno NAVNET electronics package, Lee outriggers, leaning post with rocket launcher, and much more. When Rampage designed the Rampage 33', they were looking to blend a serious offshore fishing machine with a comfortable express cruiser with a plush interior. They hit the nail on the head. The Rampage 33' has an innovative hull design which gives her an incredible ride in a head sea, a wide 13' beam to provide a stable fishing platform, and a 2'6" draft. The boat was designed with the most desirable fishing features available on a 33' boat (centerline helm, large fishbox, large cockpit, excellent visibility, raw and fresh water washdowns, etc), while also providing an incredibly comfortable and roomy interior (large private head, sleeping accommodations for 6, functional galley, cherry wood interior, etc) for the cruising family. Very well done! **Original hours on the engines are 250 total. However, both engines were just completely re-built and have only about 3 hours on them. The reason for the re-builds is that the aftercoolers were serviced, as required, and the wrong O-rings were installed in the process. This allowed raw water into the engines. Both engines were pulled from the boat and completely re-built. The new generation aftercoolers were installed at that time (Fall 2014).
