It earned an innovation award at the 1997 National Marine Manufacturers Association trade show in Chicago. If it caught the judges' eyes, it's only natural it should catch yours.A radical departure from conventional runabout hulls, the LSR borrows from offshore racing technology, which uses steps to introduce air underneath the hull, thus reducing drag at speed. Regal went a step further by using inverted strakes and side flow interrupters to maintain that air space even while the boat is turning.
