2003 Scout Boats 280 Sportfish
The Scout 280 Sportfish is a pure center console, no-nonsense fishing boat with Scout's usual array of clever design touches to maximize efficiency. Excellent fit and finish, with a fiberglass stringer system that extends into the integrated transom area that Scout calls the "Strata-Mount". This system is designed to spread the stress generated by the engines throughout the entire hull.
There is full standing headroom beneath the console for privacy in the head. The head system includes a holding tank and macerator.
The Scout 280 Sportfish features massive amounts of storage for fishing rods and personal gear, two fish boxes and a 30 gal live bait well.
The owner has had her at 55mph but that is not the maximum speed.
