2006 Sea Ray 270 SLX, Stunning and meticulously maintained boat. UPDATE: Boat is turn-key and ready for the summer: fresh anti-foul paint, fresh anode set on outdrive, brand new exhaust manifolds and elbows have been installed. Running great. Far less common than Sea Ray's Sun Deck series, the SLX represents a true step-up in quality and comfort. Single 6.2L 320 hp Mercruiser multi-port injected V8 gas engine. Engine Serviced regularly (always full synthetic motor oil), the engine always fires right up and runs smooth at all rpm's. Outdrive is the venerable Bravo III w/twin stainless props. Drive unit received comprehensive service last season, including new seals, bellows, gimbal bearing, tilt sensor and limit switch. Engine/Drive have about 230 hours and runs great. The interior vinyl is in terrific shape- always well cared for and the boat has always been covered when not in use. Large rear sunpad -hinged center section folds and stowes to allow walk-through to rear platform. Filler cushion for bow area. Tremendous on-board storage capacity. The large Swim platform has an integrated swim ladder, beautiful synthetic teak decking (requires no maintenance)and pull-out fresh water sprayer. The hull below the water line was walnut-shell blasted last spring and given an epoxy barrier coat. Additional features:Fixed sport tower (very sturdy and a very expensive option);Vacuflush porcelain head (w/stern pumpout and 10 gal. holding tank);21 gallon fresh water holding tank;Shore power system (charges dual batteries) w/50' marine power cable;Lofrans anchor winch w/fresh water washdown, cockpit refrigerator,2 stowable tables (bow and cockpit);Automatic Halon fire system;Satellite Nav (built into dash);VHF radio;Stereo (Satellite rcvr, 6-disc changer, ipod input and 7 speakers incl. subwoofer);4 large fenders (all with terry cloth covers, 2 on fixed peg mounts); blue dock lines; power trim tabs;full cockpit cover (just cleaned and waterproofed; Full Eisinglass cockpit enclosure (extends boating season into cooler weather). Powerful airpump for water toys. We love this boat, but starting a new business, so time to say goodbye to boating (for now). Boat is ready to run for the season.
