Overall, this 2005 Sea Ray 240 Sundeck is in good condition. The interior is in excellent shape, with only minor fading of some upholstery but no cracks, tears, or punctures.
The seller reports that all systems function as they should, and he completed a good deal of maintenance in 2023/4.
The exterior is in good condition and shows only minimal wear and tear for a vessel of this age. There is some dock rash and scratches in the gel coat, none penetrating the fiberglass underneath. The hull shows normal tannin staining for a boat in this area. The tannin stains are surface-level only and can be removed with an acid wash like "On and Off."
This undamaged vessel was stored high and dry in a hurricane-proof building during Hurricane Ian in 2022. The facility is far south of where Ian made landfall and received minimal flooding. The boat is stored on a high rack, so it didn't get wet.
