The PowerBoat Guide had this to say: The 300 Sundancer is a mid-cabin family cruiser with stern-drive power and practical cabin accommodations. This was a good selling boat for Sea-Ray, and while she's obviously dated by today's styling standards, she remains a good selection for used-boat buyers looking for a reliable and well built express. She rides on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull, and her 11-foot beam results in a rather spacious interior with berths for four adults and two kids. The floor-plan is arranged with double berths fore and aft, and privacy curtains separate the staterooms from the main cabin. A shower is fitted in the stand-up head; two hanging lockers offer adequate storage, and the interior is finished with a good deal of teak trim. The Sundancer's cockpit is dominated by an elevated double-wide helm seat which contains a flip-down, aft-facing jump seat in addition to a built in refreshment center. There are storage pockets under the gunnel's, and a transom door was standard. Additional features include teak bow pulpit, and a swim platform.

Highly recommended by listing agent! The PowerBoat Guide had this to say: Lots of manufacturers build 30-foot mid-cabin express cruisers, but few have been at it as long as Sea Ray and probably no company does it better. This is the forth in a series of 300 Sundancer models Sea Ray has produced since 1985, and an extended 30-inch swim platform made her the most stylish of the pack. Like her predecessors, the newest Sundancer rides on a deep-V hull with moderate beam and a solid fiberglass bottom. Buyers can pick from two interior floor-plans. The standard layout has a dinette that converts into a berth, while the optional configuration features a curved sofa bed with a matching table. Both plans include an enclosed head and shower, a double berth forward, and of course a mid-berth aft. Privacy curtains separate the sleeping areas from the main cabin, which is highlighted by three overhead hatches and attractive burl-wood cabinets. The cockpit comes with a wet bar and a removable table in addition to a fore-and-aft facing bench seats, and the entire cockpit sole rises on hydraulic rams to reveal the engine compartment. The sporty tiered helm is particularly well arranged.
