2004 Sea Ray 340 Sundancer Introduced in 2003, the Sea Ray 340 Sundancer replaced theprevious 340 Sundancer (19992002)a popular model inthe Sea Ray fleet for several years. Wider in the beam thanher predecessor, with a newly designed cockpit and a deep-Vhull, the sleek styling of the 340 Sundancer conceals an interiorthat seems remarkably spacious for a 34-foot boat. cabin is well-lit with seven ports and overhead hatches, andthe upscale decor is accented with rich cherry cabinetry andearth-tone fabrics and upholstery. The layout is typical of mostSundancer interiors with a pedestal berth forward and convertiblesettees in the salon and midcabin area. Corian counters andquality hardware are found in the galley, and privacy curtainsseparate the sleeping areas from the main cabin. Semicircularlounge seating is aft in the cockpit, and an electric hatch liftsto reveal a rather compact engine compartment. The helm isnotable for its excellent design and good visibility.
