This is a USCG Documented 2000 Sea Ray Amberjack This boat has low engine hours (about 250 Hrs. each.) It has reverse cycle A/C, stern davits, outriggers, fish package (alum. rod holders, fish box, cooler, sink), ACR spotlight, windlass, LCD TV, full galley, Sat. television, and more. The boat has been sitting a couple of years but was fully serviced and winterized before being put-up. Lots of preventive maintinance done just before layup. This is a GREAT boat but I own other boats and have no use for it any more. I want it to find a new home before winter if possible. The boat is on the hard in a full-service marina in Deale, MD (on the Chesapeake Bay near Annapolis, MD) about 35 min. from Washington, DC. The Amberjack has a wider beam than the comparable "Sundancer" series and carries almost twice the fuel. The engine compartment is huge - compared to the Sundancer, as well. The Amberjack is configured as a sort of --- "SUV" of the Sea Ray line, designed for off-shore comfort fishing or in rougher waters. I spent over $6,000 for a full aft canvas enclosure with u-zip windows - all with screens. I also had screens made for the side and center forward windows to allow our family to enjoy the topsides like an enclosed screened room or to zip it all up in bad weather and not feel confined below deck. The boat also has a winter cover and lots of additional "original" canvas - still in serviceable condition. Both engines were fully serviced, tuned, and both outdrives were removed and fully serviced just prior to layup. I had planned to keep the boat and replaced all parts that were recommended for replacement and fully serviced the engines and outdrives -- including replacing water pumps. The fuel in the boat probably should be drained or tested - because of the period sitting. There are facilities locally to perform that service if desired after purchase. The final install of the Kohler generator was done just before layup and has not been run since. It has very low hours. I had installed removable davits on the swim platform so that I could haul a small tender and anchor in shallow waters - but get to shore. The windlass, ACR remote spotlight, reverse cycle A/C (with heat), Furuno electronics, television, and KVH G4HP satellite system were all added within the last few years. I did remove a large Furuno display (from the dash - port side.) I also purchased a used 12kW Furuno radar package to replace the enclosed 4kW radome (that I had on previously) and that 12kW Furuno scanner or a 4kW enclosed radome will be included with the vessel - as desired by the purchaser. This boat is not new and is a little dirty from sitting - but has been shrink-wrapped most winters and professionally detailed most every Spring I have owned it. I will be glad to provide the new owner with all of my maintenance records and invoices from over $3,000 in service / maintenance items performed before being winterized last. I am selling this boat at a major loss because I just cannot bear another Winter / Spring sitting while a broker attempts to get the last dollar out of the boat. This is a GREAT boat! You can review my feedback and buy with confidence. I want both parties to leave a transaction happy and content. I will be glad to work with the right party with regards to payment and pick-up of the vessel. Please email me with any questions and requests prior to purchase. I have tried to include lots of accurate photos to assist with your decision. I may be willing to accept a smaller trailer-able boat in trade.
