Selling a 1990 Sea Ray 190, with a 5.7 Mercruiser I/O, Alpha Outdrive, and a dual axle trailer. I recently purchased this on a whim, from a couple that was moving and couldn't take the boat with them. There was a multitude of things he had done to the outdrive, as well as basic oil, sparkplugs, etc... that he had done to the motor. The boat had been on the water the previous weekend, they enjoyed the boat, it was just time to part with it since they were moving. I bought it without a water test or even cranking it up. They seemed honest, and as it turned out the boat runs just as good as he said it did. Although a 190, the boat actually measures 20' 8" and seats 8. The Hull is in good condition, no major chip marks. There is oxidation on the gelcoat and could use a good buffing. The bumper rail is all in tact, but show obvious signs of dinks and dings. Appears to be original, so for 14 years of use it's not as bad as a newer boat I had that was on the verge of needing replaced. The Sea Ray emblems on the rear I have removed for now. They were no longer Chrome and just looked old and tarnished. I still have them and with 3m tape can be re-used, however for $50 a brand new set for the boat can be purchased here on Ebay, which would be a cheap improvement to the looks. The 5.7 Mercruiser with Alpha outdrive all runs good. It has a Stainless prop and stabilizer. I have a video that can be emailed if interested, with it running on muffs. The last time out, after 8 or 9 start and stops the battery had lost charge. The battery is fine, so a new alternator has been ordered which I plan on installing when received. This boat has a fire suppressant system installed above the motor. There is also a full system cutoff switch with a key installed at the battery. The interior is usable with age starting to take affect. If you want a brand new, super clean, interior then look away. On a scale of 1-10, really I would say about a 6 or 7 in some places, with 3's in others. Hopefully, the pictures can show what I'm trying to explain. These seats have layers on top of layers and time is starting to peel the layers back. Appears that there has been attempt to "glue" back some portions in different areas. The engine cover is sturdy however it appears someone has attempted to staple the vinyl back together. The floor seems to be in good condition, the bow is fiberglass the pictures show dirt on the floor (it's now clean), the rest is carpeted, with no indication of any soft spots. I have not peeled back the carpet to see what, if anything, has been completed. All the glass is good, and the bow walk thru window operates as it should.Ski LockerAnchor LockerThe stereo currently has a CD stuck in it...I'm working on getting it out if I can.2 Speakers There is a fish/depth finder aftermarket stand installed, but that is all that is included. The electronics aren't there. The trailer is dual axle that has a brake line, however at this time there is no cylinder. Rusted in several spots could easily be painted. There are 4 new tires and tows this boat just great. When I bought the boat I traveled with it for over 5 hours with no issues at all. Also included is a bow snap on cover, and a full canvas enclosure. The right side window is missing but if I was to keep the boat I would try to locate the manufacturer to get another one. I've considered keeping this boat and replace the carpet and vinyl...it's really all it needs to "look" great. Functionally, it already performs and with the 5.7 this boat will approach 60mph. Each day, I still tinker with it - cleaning this, cleaning that... just because I enjoy it. So, overall, it will be better than what you see in the pictures. Clean NADA book value with this motor books it out over $7,000. Which makes it worthwhile to consider putting in a little money into it at the price I am letting it go for. I have an interest in another boat but need to sell this one first. I've considered keeping it anyway, and letting the other opportunity go, just because I really think this would be one sharp boat with time and money invested. I've tried to give the best explanation I can, if you have any questions or need more pictures let me know. I have a 100% feedback rating and I'd like to keep it, so if you have an interest in this Sea Ray I'll give you all the info you need. I will help all I can on my side but will incur no cost, any shipping, pickup, or transportation cost will be responsibility of the buyer.
