This boat is unique and impossible to find , Gel Coat is in like new condition, Trailer is in good condition. 1979 Sea Star 27ftwith Fly Bridge and Cabin. The Diesel Engine is made by Volvo Model #TAMD41A with 200 horse power TURBO CHARGED that includes after cooler. It is the same Diesel engine as a Cummins engine. This is a straight inline 6 cylinder engine. The engine has a heat exchanger that allows cooling of the engine by antifreeze which totally prevents salt water from entering the engine and destroying it. These engines were designed to run forever, the outdrive is also Volvo, the transmissions a velvet. This type of setup allows a boat this size to go into very shallow waters by allowing trimming up of outdrive. No rotted wood, boat is solid and has a great paint job. Boat comes with trailer.Divorce AND moving.... There is no other boat like this one , you have to know a lot about boats to know what makes this boat unique and impossible to find 1979 Sea Star 27ft With Flybridge and Cubby, Diesel Engine made by Volvo Model # TAMD41 a lot of people say this is the same Diesel engine as a Cummings it is turbo charged, with after cooler and all. it is a fresh water engine means no salt water goes into this engine it has a heat exchanger all the necessary filters for keeping everything the way it is suppose to be engine is a 200 horse power 6 cylinder in line after cooler by itself sells for about $4000 the heat exchanger sells for about $2000 used these engines were designed to run for ever the outdrive is also volvo the transmission is a velvet. absolutely no blow by there are stories on line of these engines running for up too 15000 hours. trailer is in great condition with a little TLC this boat will sell for over $20,000 I don't have the time anymore for it I know i will regret selling, because there is not many out there in this size with this type of diesel power run all day for a few gallons.$13,995 if you don't know the difference between a gas engine and a diesel for marine then you should read up on it you can spend $200-400 every time you launch your boat or $50 with diesel they are more expensive to buy but cheaper in the long haul and cheaper every time you launch them plz email if you are interested.
