This Custom Shrimp 82 IQF boat is currently in operation shrimping the Gulf of Mexico. It operates under a current USCG Document and Fishery Endorsement. The sellers have owned and managed the boat for about 20 years shrimping the Gulf of Mexico. The boat produces $160,000 in annual revenue for the owners. The working deck of this boat is 27' from the stern to the winches. The aftmost deck is 21' wide by 18' to the containment deck. The decks are steel, the containment barrier is stainless steel, and the gunwale rails are stainless steel. The boat's USCG NRT is rated for 56 tons. On the business end of the ship, the brine box is 8' x 4' x 3.5'. Below the brine box is the hatch to the IQF freezing unit which holds an estimated 40,000 lbs of catch. Net and outrigger operations are managed by the PTO-driven McElroy double winch and the electric trynet winch. The owner recently added four custom aluminum drag boards, see photos.
