1990 Silverton 37 convertible / Sedan bridge: I ask that you please read the entire listing before purchasing or making an offer. This is probably one of the nicest 1990 boats on the market today. She has been well cared-for by me and her two previous owners since new. Until April of this year she had been lift kept and only put in the water when used. Many of her systems have been upgraded. The twin fresh water cooled, Crusader 454 inboards have about 630 hours on them, start easily and run strong. She features a newer (2013) eco-friendly, low-emissions genset that has under 100 hours. This is one of the quietest gensets available and produces almost no CO2 or CO emissions. Of course she also features shore power and a triple 12 volt battery charger. The spacious salon features a pull-out sleeper sofa and newer carpeting. The galley is complete with a large 7.0 CF refrigerator / freezer, microwave oven, two-burner cooktop, large sink and newer laminate flooring. Unlike many boats, this galley has plenty of drawers and cabinets for all of your storage needs. The large centerline V-berth is ready for a restful night on the water. If you’re not quite ready for sleep, watch a movie on the flat screen TV with built-in DVD player, or read a book with the help of built-in reading lights. The head (bathroom) has a private entrance from the V-berth and from the salon. The head features a large shower stall with molded-in seating, electric flush head (with tank monitor) and vanity / sink. Don’t worry about running out of hot water, she has a new (2015) 11 gallon hot water heater (the original was 6 gallon). The dinette easily seats five and folds into an additional berth for friends or family. The entire cabin is comfort controlled by two air-conditioning units with reverse cycle heat. The cockpit is large and uncluttered and is perfect for a day of fishing or a great place to put chairs for entertaining.Up the stairs to the flybridge you will find brand-new (2015) upholstery and seating, all under a bimini top with complete enclosure. The hydraulic steering controls the large rudders with ease. For your safety there is a VHF radio, tri-data unit, compass and engine room fume detector. The bridge also features a power port and chart table (perfect for modern tablet and notebook navigation systems).General condition and notable defects:Overall this boat is in well above average condition for her age. With that said, she does have some spider cracks and crazing, mainly around the deck hatches and on the rear deck. There are no soft spots. There is a noticeable vibration in the rear of the boat at mid to high RPMs. This seams to be coming from the Starboard shaft or propeller. While I have not pulled the boat to have this investigated, it is believed to be caused by one of the following: Prop out of balance, bad cutless bearing or possibly a shaft that needs to be straightened. The local boatyard has estimated the repairs to be between $1,000 - $1,500 (including haulout and re-launch). I have already deducted $2,000 from my asking price to account for this. The depth gauge is not functioning. The hull sides could stand a good buff and wax. Next season she will be due for fresh bottom paint. Other than that, every single thing works properly. From the bilge pumps to the air conditioning, to the engines to the fridge and microwave.....it's all in good condition. This boat is not going to nickel and dime you to death.I just had the boat out yesterday, and she performed well. She cruises easily at 15 MPH and will top out about 25 mph .Please see all the recent pics and call with any questions.
