Considering the age of the boat, the boat appears to have been well cared for. The wood and bottom of the boat have been maintained. The seller says all mechanical and electrical items function and required. This boat is ready for a cruise with a new captain. Stock #380238 1983 SKIFF CRAFT X300 SPT. READY FOR THE NEXT ADVENTURE. This 1983 Skiff Craft X300 SPT is located in New Orleans, LA on Lake Pontchartrain. The boat is hand crafted by artisans and features beautiful mahogany wood throughout. The large back deck of the boat is great for sport fishing. Under the floor of the back deck are compartments for the two Chrysler engines, fuel tank and batteries. There are also two large storage compartments along the transom wall. Entering the cabin of the boat from the back deck, on the port side, is the head with sink and storage. Next on the port side is a dinette that converts to a bed. Continuing forward below the front deck is a comfortable and roomy V-berth for two. There is a hatch in the ceiling of the berth that provides access above, to the large front deck. On the front starboard side of the cabin is the full helm with stainless steel steering wheel and gauges for monitoring the performance of the two engines. Next, on the starboard side is the galley with a mini-fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Below the counter are large cabinets for storage. Exiting the cabin to the back deck, there is a ladder on the port side that leads up to the flybridge helm, built onto the hard top. The flybridge has a full helm with gauges. There is a comfortable Captain's chair and seating for four, on two back-facing, cushioned seats, that convert to two beds. Reason for selling is not using it.
