2004 Stingray 200LS,Stingray's emerging reputation as a performance entity rides on one of the industry's truly original bottom designs. The patented Z-plane's hydrodynamics center on strake design. Conventional vee-hulls, are hampered by a pocket of air created by the conventional protruding strake configuration. Stingray's design, in leaves undisturbed the flow of water to the prop by integrating the strakes into the hull, thereby creating a terrace effect that results in a smoother, more fluid flow. Overall construction and installation of the stainless-steel hardware (windshield, bow railing, deck cleats, bow and stern eyes) all externals are well placed and solidly mounted. Three deck cleats, two aft and one forward, are placed in easily accessible areas. The five-piece walk-through windshield is sturdily installed in an aluminum frame. Its centerpiece opened to access one of the boat's unique design features - a removable flush-mounted deck lid that converts the bow section into a hard deck in an instant. Formed of hard plastic the lid is stout enough to support a 200-pounder and stores neatly away when not in use. The two front bucket seats are mounted on swivel-slider pedestals, which are screwed to the floor using stainless-steel hardware. The dense foam in the vinyl-covered front buckets resist bottom out during high-speed, rough water bursts, at 60 mph. The rear bench is framed in treated marine plywood and offers excellent comfort and support. Like the buckets, it is double stitched, piped and nicely color matched. The bow seating area is not cramped for a boat of this size. There is a fair amount of interior storage penned into the ZP's cockpit design. It includes large, segmented areas in the engine compartment, wet stowage in small pouches on the rear of the buckets. The base Stingray includes four integrated drink holders, a molded 20-inch by 72-inch rear-boarding platform, a ventilated floor-mounted ski locker with a teak cover and interior cockpit lighting. Its molded dash housed dual panels, one for the blackface Teleflex gauges and one for a series of rotary-style switches. Easily monitored dials are placed directly over the wheel, and controls are placed for easy access. This guy has a fresh fuel injected 350 340HP V8 that is covered from the engine rebuilder for another year left on the 3 year warranty. We are the original owners from when it was bought new in 2004. No kids or animals have been on this boat just a husband and wife team. It is in extremely great condition, but we just don't use it much anymore due to health issues. It's rare a stern-drive vee-hull that will crack 70 mph with a fuel injected Volvo Penta out drive mated to a built Chevy 350 with 340HP power. It sits on a Trail Rite tandom axle trailer with surge disc brakes, this was custom built by Trail Rite for this boat. At the time both the boat and trailer were a special order purchase. $18995
