2008 Stratos 201 XL
The dynamic 201 XL is at the forefront of design innovation and tournament-level high performance. At 20'8" in length and rated for a maximum of 250 horsepower, the 201 XL devours rough water, is impressively responsive and extremely stable. The vast front deck houses a world of gear and tackle storage and is available with Stratos' professional tackle organizer (PTO). Up front, twin rod lockers are sized to keep a wealth of rods organized and close by. Elsewhere, the cockpit includes a full roster of speed, tach, fuel, volt, trim and water pressure gauges. Factory equipped with Lowrance electronics, a 24 volt Minn Kota trolling motor, quick release windshield and a fully-featured Stratos trailer.
This boat is an excellent bass boat. I have owned this boat since 2007 and never had any problems except had to replace the deep cycle batter for the trolling motor. It has a fixed GPS Hummingbird Fish finder in the dash boat. it was purchased in 2011. I am orignially from Indiana and moved down here in Florida and my prorities has changed. I am more interested in getting a Kayak. It has a 65 Mini Kota Maxx Trolling motor with a special prop to get 70 lbs thrust works like a charm. Lots of storage places. Two 18 gallon live well. Dual onboard charger for the trolling batter new in 2012. The trailer is still in nice condition no rust at all. The hull is clean as it can be as I use Bass Boat Saver. The motor with proper choking and priming starts right up with no hesitation. It also has a fishing finder attached to the trolling motor. It has dual consol so your passenger or partner and be out of the wind as well. Has a Starlight Hydrualic Steering which is a plus for steering at high speed. I had it clocked at 68 mph alone. This boat is too good to toss up but due to my interest has changed it is hard giving it up. It would be someone gain and my loss.
