Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE 1974 Switzer Hugger with a 1974 Mercury 850 85 HP outboard. Floor was replaced from foot plate in bow to transition in stern where gas tanks sit with 3/4 marine grade plywood. This boat has been family owned since original purchase, has less than 15 seasons in almost 40 years. Reupholstered red/black marbleized leather seats have 7 seasons of use since install, new floor and carpet have 7 seasons use since install. 1970 Sterling trailer and custom bow to stern cover included seen in pictures. This boat is Very fast for its size! Fiberglass & gel coat are in good shape and transom is strong. I have the original prop that came on the motor that you can have as a spare. There are two 6 gallon gas tanks that come with the boat. Switzercraft boats were hand built in Crystal Lake, Illinois and have a rich racing tradition. This boat has a shallow draw and the bow rides very low in the water as seen in pictures. Issues: There are a couple of chips in the fiberglass above the water line at the stern (see pictures). The Engine turns over but does not fire. The starter engages but it appears there is no spark (plugs replaced with no effect) gas is getting to the engine. The engine fired-up and ran last May while hooked up to a hose with a flush attachment, I had a prospective buy later in the summer but was unable to get the engine to run again. Boat is being sold with engine in 'Non-Working' condition. Feel free to make an offer.Sale is 'as is' with no warranties or guarantees.
