This trimaran appears to be in good sailing condition. The hulls are all sound and appear to be in very good condition for the age of the boat. There were no signs of leaks around any of the hatches or windows. Sails appear to be in good condition and are ready to sail. Stock #442125 Beautiful and rare 2001 Corsair 28 in good condition, ready to sail! Trailer is included. This 2001 Corsair 28 Trimaran gives you a great combination of a family cruiser and offshore racer, and with her trailer-ability, you can take her anywhere you want to go! Trailering also offers a significant saving in dock fees and maintenance, and her 16" draft means she is easy to launch without having to completely sink a trailer. There are two swim ladders, a team table that can be used below or in the cockpit, a large CDQ anchor, and 30' of chain and rode. This is also the only Corsair model with the head and aft berth. She also features a Ray Marine GPS-chartplotter 9", VHF, speed and depth, autopilot, compass. The Bimini is newer. All in working order when last used, the owner confirms. The boat includes all the mast raising equipment Powered by a 9.8 Tohatsu electric start and power tilt engine running fine. Always used unleaded gas and ran freshwater through on layup. Three batteries, two are newer. Wiring has been redone. Newer LED lights in all cabins. Two gas tanks (3 gallon and 6 gallon). That would get you close to Key west from here. If speed is your thing, then you will love this Corsair Trimaran. She will give you 10kn to 12kn off-wind. She's a great boat for the keys or for enjoying any beach as she only draws 16" with the boards up, and 5' with the boards down. Comfortable cruising style accommodation, responsive handling, and effortless speed make the 28 Aft Cabin a pleasure to be on. The retractable daggerboard gives excellent windward capability. Downwind or reaching, you can mix it with boats twice her size! You'll find everything you need here with a refrigerator that runs off A/C or D/C power, sink, and a two-burner stovetop in the main salon plus a head with sink. There are also solar panels to keep battery charged. She is efficiently rigged with all the control lines leading aft for convenient operation from the cockpit. All sails except spinnaker are composite material, maybe Mylar. None are Dacron. Main in very good to excellent condition. Original jib was hank on in excellent condition. The seller removed hanks and put it on a roller and tried it as a second jib for upwind. Did not work that well. Two large jibs. One about 2' bigger on foot and luff then the other. The larger sail in good to very good condition. This would be a down wind or broad reach sail. Spare roller to put it on. The other large sail is just about new, a very nice sail that the seller used for downwind and close reach sailing and a good choice when sailing the boat alone. There is a brand new working jib on a roller also new. Seller never turn the spinnaker out of the bag but guessing it is in fair to good condition and maybe better based on the other sails. It is in a sock. This vessel is about as seaworthy as they come. Her innovative design and advanced construction technology gives you a boat that can safely cruise anywhere.
