The hull, deck, and exterior of the boat are in good condition. The captain's chair needs to be replaced. The interior needs a complete refit. 1980 Trojan 36 Tri-Cabin REDUCED BY $10,000 !!! The almost new GM 5.7 liter gas engines have only 130 hours. Your writer has observed this vessel being maintained within a city block from my home for over 20 years. The maintenance throughout has been of the highest order throughout this period and her condition today certainly reflects this. The layout with two separate staterooms each with full separate bath and shower (one stall, one phone cord) along with a full stand up refrigerator in the main salon seem improbably large for a vessel with this LOA. This is an original Great Lakes boat that was redone in 2005-06. At that time it was repowered with the Lehman diesels and a Mase 6K diesel generator. It also rec'd new cockpit upholstry, new radar, new marine refrigerator, new vacuflush head, new bilge pumps as well as awlgrip paint on the hull sides. This is an extremely spacious boat in both cockpit and cabin due to wide 13ft beam. Engines and generator run great, and boat performs well on water. This is a great boat and with a little TLC, is something you could be very proud of for many years to come. Now for the bad, Port fuel tank (aluminum) has a leak, but both engines can be run off starbord side. Boat has some scratches on sides, as it got pinned between boats and dock durring Hurricane Arlene (2011). As I am a Florida resident who summers on the boat in NY, I never got a chace to repair paint. The boat is presently on the hard in Kingston NY. I will be returning to NY the end of May.
