2003 Viking Yachts Convertible The Viking 48 Convertible is yet another example of why Viking so dominates the market for premium, executive-class convertibles. It isn’t just beautiful styling that sets her apart from the competition; what makes the Viking 48 special is her redundant engineering, exemplary finish and superior open water performance. Built on a modified-V hull with a wide beam and shallow keel, the interior is big for a 48-footer. The layout is arranged with the galley and dinette forward in the salon and two good size staterooms and two full heads. A washer and dryer is located adjacent to the companionway steps. Varnished teak cabinets, rich designer fabrics and deep pile carpeting are applied throughout the interior. The spacious 130-square-foot cockpit sports a recessed fish box, bait-prep station, and direct access to the spacious engine room. Note that the bridge ladder is positioned over the salon steps to save cockpit space. The entire boat was painted at Viking Yachts in 2014. The bridge is nicely completed with new canvas and cushions also in 2014.

This stunning single stateroom Viking 43 Convertible with the galley down, dinette layout has been constantly upgraded by her owners. The gelcoat gleams, the strataglass enclosure is crystal clear and the electronics were upgraded in 2013/2014. She is powered by Detroit 6-71TI diesels with less than 2500 hours and a rebuilt Onan genset. Inside she features day/night shades, new carpet (2014), new custom mattress (2014), new bedspread (2015) and all the hatches were removed and rebed in 2014. She was completely repainted with Awlgrip 2000 in 2008 including topsides and Sea Foam Green hull, and it shows in her shine. Also in 2008, the headliner, carpeting and antennas were replaced. 1988 Viking Convertible
This 48’ Viking Convertible is a hard to find three stateroom galley down model with two full size heads that comfortably sleeps 6. The side windows were recently replaced with Viking factory supplied frameless windows giving the vessel a modern updated look. Both engines were recently majored from the main bearings up, and the fresh water cooling systems for both engines were upgraded with higher capacity cooling systems. The bridge enclosure was replaced in June of 2016.
