2002 Wellcraft 330 Coastal
For several years the 330 Coastal was the largest model in Wellcraft’s fleet of fishing boats. Introduced in 1989, she’s constructed on a modified-V hull with a relatively wide beam and prop pockets (side exhausts were added in 1992). Designed as a dedicated sportfisherman, the 330 Coastal came with a good inventory of standard equipment including two in-deck fish boxes, a circular livewell, tackle center, and a transom door. (A factory marlin or tuna tower was a popular option.) Both helm and companion seats are mounted on raised boxes with built-in livewell and bait-prep station that swing back for engine access. Although she’s primarily a fishing boat, the cabin accommodations are suitable for weekend cruising with berths for four, a full galley, convertible dinette, and enclosed head/shower. Note that oval ports replaced the original cabin windows in 1998. A bow pulpit was standard, and the side decks are wide enough for secure bow access.
