Up for saleWestborne Nantucket 44Vessel took on water at the dock due to a faulty thru hull connection to air conditioner. Boat was not on shore power at the time and bilges pumped water until batteries were depleted. Water came in at the midships and flowed back to engine room. Engines, transmissions, and generator were submerged, all were filled with diesel fuel and pickled. Motors rotated when boat was pulled from the water and while they were being pickled. Generator was not tested or turned. Motors and generator will need a major overhaul. We took off a few engine parts like turbos so we could fill the engines fully with diesel fuel. It appears that water did not go over the floors inside the cabin. All batteries were pulled and we installed one for testing 12 volt systems, most all the systems are still in working order. The electronics, lights, windlass, bilges pumps, gauges, vhf and buzzers/key switches were in working order. We also plugged 110v power to the vessel and most appliances were fuctional. The air conditions all came on but one tripped the breaker within 1min. The stove, fridge, and microwave all are in working order. The main breaker panel for 12v and 110 was not touched by water and is in working order. Vessel was also thoroughly cleaned inside and out bilges are clean and boat shows as undamaged. The boat has a great fit and finish. No corners were cut when she was built and majority of the interior is still in great condition. The cushions were not even wet. This boat was on the cover of Yachting Magazine in 1999 and I have a copy of the issue. Vessel has great lines and pictures really don't do it justice.
