When the Voyage 440 catamaran was introduced in 2001, it was the first multihull ever to be awarded Cruising World's overall boat of the year award. Though Voyage Yachts was anticipating this coup would boost the sales of their 4 cabin versions for their namesake charter fleet, instead they found the factory book full of orders for owner's versions.
