2014 Yamaha SVHO, Whats so astonishing about going 71.5 mph on an FX model is how utterly comfortable I felt at that speed. Halfway through one run I encountered an unexpected set of wakes that would typically produce a few anxious moments. Instead, the FX hull charged over them with ease. With the right body positioning and anticipation, I was also able to rail the boat into corners at near full throttle and not get launched, and punch it out of the hole and hit the 30 mph benchmark well under two seconds. While a stopwatch and GPS pale in comparison to a legitimate radar gun and acceleration-testing software, Im calling the ballpark figure as quick as 1.5 seconds. $11250

The kids are growing up and have other, but cool nonetheless, interests. The wife and I don't have time to manage the kids and their many activities and take care of our business any longer and include time for boating. Sadly, it's been like this for the last two years, which explains the extremely low hours on the boat's engines. This is my third boat, so my next one will likely be a small cruiser for the wife and I to enjoy when we retire to Florida and have time to worry about entertaining ourselves, not our kids. When I purchased the boat in May of 2011, it had about 7 hours total on the engines (computer tested). By the time I got around to installing an hour meter in August 2011, we were at exactly 20 hours, so the boat has had an average of 5.5 hours of engine use per year since 8/11. There are approximately 4 hours on the engines since the last oil change and about 15 hours since the plugs were changed. We were keeping it on a lift at Pier 121 Marina on Lake Lewisville in a covered slip and it only ever made two trips to other lakes, both in Arkansas. It is currently in covered storage and ready to show. Since purchased, I've added Thrust Vectors and Tru-Locks (fantastic items: added in 2011), a new Bow and Cockpit canvas cover (added 2012), new cranking battery (2015), and the stock wakeboard tower (still can't believe my good fortune at finding the stock tower available) and replaced the rear mat material on the stern platform, and added a new all-around white light. On the trailer, I added Boat Buckles, the spare tire rack and have replaced the bunk boards with new pressure-treated boards and marine carpeting (2014), plus had new wiring installed. So what comes with it? An assortment of life vests (maybe 8 total), fenders, both bow and cockpit canvas cover poles, anchor, ski ropes, tow ropes, tow toys, skis (including learner skis), two wakeboards, paddle, grab pole, USCG approved throw cushion, Pela Oil Pump, two spare oil filters, Blu Sea battery switch and a trickle charger, three spare chrome wheels (I had a set of four, but used one for the spare), four large tire chocks and a chrome ball keyed security lock. Also, I have the grey interior carpeting, but I never liked using it, so took it out after a few uses and stored it. Almost forgot... I also have a set of CE Smith lighted trailer poles that are in the unopened box ready to install. There are no missing cushions and they are all 99.5% stain-free. So what's wrong with it? Not much of anything, really. I always used Stabil over the winters and ethanol-free gas from the marina except for the first few times I used it and didn't know any better. I always ran clean water through the engines if setting up for any length of time. It's exceptionally clean and damage-free. The tires are starting to show their age and I am including with this price a complete new set of tires (four only... the spare is still as if new). There are a couple of very minor nicks from general use. It's not a new boat, but nothing out of the ordinary for a six-year old boat. Structure of boat and gel coat is solid with only a few minor rub marks. I need to replace the rubber strap that holds the ladder in place at the stern, but the ladder never moves without it being held in place, anyway. Also, the wiring is in place, but I never connected the white light at the top of the wakeboard tower. You would want to do this. The bimini is in great shape. No damage and the frame is perfect. Viewing and test rides can be scheduled based on overall level of interest, the weather and my schedule. I travel the U.S., Central America and the Caribbean for my business and am in and out of the country all the time. If you have an interest, or any questions, please feel free to message me. Hours on engines are subject to change as it is tested, but I'll keep those to a minimum. Thanks.
