A very nicely restored Ericson 38 sailboat. This vessel has undergone extensive upgrades, making it an ideal bluewater cruiser or an excellent live-aboard option. Introduced in 1980, the Ericson 38 was designed by the incomparable Bruce King whose talent for drawing beautiful boats of near-perfect proportions. This is a two owner sailor. The original owner reported Hull Transom is built as the "reverse" style with a swim ladder with intention for speed and strength of stern stay. A limited Number of Ericson 38s have this feature. The engine throttle and transmission shift linkage are mounted directly on the steering wheel pedestal. Compass and fathometer readout and fathometer alarm are also pedestal mounted and all gauges lighted. For easy one-hand operation the hydraulic stern stay tensioner and release controls are installed next to Helm. Additional features: Starboard galley has a large refrigeration/ freezer with the compressor mounted in aft quarter hatch, factory coal/ wood stove heat, factory built in wine rack factory entertainment center. The Ericson's interior features include a galley with sink, stovetop, oven, dinette table, cushioned bench seating, settee, a forward V-berth, aft berth and more.
