3/26/2024 I was out at the Albin and the complete upper deck needs replacing as it is soft/spongy. ENTIRE UPPER DECK NEEDS REPLACING

Generator fires right up and all electronics work as they should.
Owner is having the engine worked on around 4 to 5k. Work should be completed 1st week in August.

3/26/2024 I was out at the Albin and the complete upper deck will need replacing as some point. Some areas are getting soft.
The Albin does need quite a bit of TLC and is dirty.
The binimi top was ruined by the wind along with the skin. The frame is intact and sturdy.

The Albin 28 needs little introduction. A well-established builder, Albin produced these vessels for many years and they are still sought after today. Unlike many other boats, this diesel powered fishing platform can handle itself beautifully in a wide variety of conditions and still provide ample room for fishing and long weekends aboard. Designed to give a soft and stable ride in heavy sea conditions the Albin 28 provides nice accommodations and comforts to suit the cruising family.
This gorgeous 2005 Albin 28 TE flush deck is a very clean one owner boat that has been well maintained. Powered by a Yanmar 315HP diesel engine with 1200 hours she cruises at 16 and tops out at 20-30. For docking and easy maneuvering in close quarters she is equipped with a Vetus bow thruster. The boat has great electronics including a Raymarine GPS/Chart plotter/Fish finder/depth sounder, ICOM VHF radio, Raymarine Radar & Sony stereo. This vessel has a live well and two fish boxes. She is the flush deck version so the engine isn’t occupying valuable cockpit room. “Prime Time” is complete with an enclosed head with shower as well as a transom shower with fresh water & salt water washdown. Aft you will find a walk thru transom door, a swim platform & a swim ladder. Down below the galley is complete with a 2 burner cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, sink with pressurized water & a good amount of storage area. The cabin has been well designed and surprisingly spacious for a 28’ vessel. “Prime Time” has the optional hard top feature at the helm.
She is great for all weather cruising or fishing with the enclosed helm.
