Beautiful restoration on this rare 13 ft mahogany runabout. Only manufactured for 4 years. Very few left in existence and none in this quality condition. Boat has rare factory rack and pinion steering. Comes with two complete 1956 mercury Mark 55 motors. Comes with custom trailer. A real head-turner at wooden boat shows!

2003 Aristocraft Typhoon "12". This is a replica of the original Aristocrafts of the 1950's built by William Turner of Atlanta Boat Works. This company has been reproducing these boats from the original jigs and using the same hardware castings that Williams grandfather used. Purchased in 2003, it then had an original 1956 Johnson Seahorse "30" Model RDE18 installed with electric start along with the correct period controls and fuel tank. Also included is a 2004 trailer that was also purchased new to use with this boat. This boat has less than 10 hours of use since built and outfitted. It was in a showroom as a display for over 10 years. The boat is in the same cosmetic condition as it was when built in 2003. There is no damage or defects to the hull. The Johnson engine runs as it should and the trailer is ready to tow. The boat is the standard natural varnished finish with a yellow bottom, sea foam green and cream seat cushions and a green plexiglass windshield. 1953 12ft Aristocraft Typhoon. Boat has all original hardware, seat, steering wheel, vintage Muskegon Speedometer, and NEW (1964) Aquameter clock, have original box and instructions. Motor is a 1956 Mercury Mk 30 Electric start, and has new fuel pump(2) and rebuilt lower unit (bearings and seals) prop is a 13 pitch brass. Boat also comes with the original 1953 "Mercury Mark 20 engine (compression 118 in both cylinders) no spark.. with gas tank" and dead man throttle, and steering bar (pic. to follow) Trailer has new lights, bearing buddies, 2 new "radial" tires, and leveler.
