The deck and cockpit look great. The buyer recently replaced the upholstery. It has updated speakers and amp but is missing the faceplate for the stereo The engine has a rebuilt carburetor with a coil, sparkplug, wiring, fluids, and battery. The owner states the engine runs great. The trailer has new lights, wheel bearings, tongue jack and winch. The cuddy does not have cushions and needs work. The seller has an estimate and plans to have the cuddy fixed up and add cushions. The hull has some scratches on the port side. They are shown in the photographs. Hello ebay, I am selling my 1988 Baja 240 Sport Outlaw that needs a good home. This boat comes with everything except engine. The engine is available and can be purchased if interested. The motor is a Chevy 496 stroker and has the best of everything and has 0 hours on it. The hull is completely solid and in very good condition and has absolutely no rot or soft spots anywhere and the stringers are completely solid as well. It comes with a Bravo 1 outdrive and complete transom assembly. The boat also comes with a dual axle trailer that is in excellent condition. This is a small project, but due to financial issues and health, I have to sell ASAP. Some of the interior could use a freshening up and needs a new rub rail, which is very cheap. Like I said, this is a small project that can be finished for summer. I love the 240 sport outlaw and I do not want to get rid of it, but I have too. I am asking 3800.00. Free and Clear Title. 1990 Baja 226 ES / 240 BEST PRICE ON THE INTERNET OR ANYWHERE FOR A NICE 226/240 BAJA! 5700. WILL BUY THIS BOAT RIGHT NOW-that is a great deal! YOU WONT FIND ONE OF THESE ANY CHEAPER AND THIS IS A FRESH WATER BOAT WITH LOW HOURS. This model was introduced as a 226 ES then in 91 the same boat was designated a 240. It has a overall length of 24ft. It has a nice wide beam and decent size boom boom room. It is powered with a 454 7.4L Mercruiser 330HP engine and Bravo stern drive, can do 60 Plus MPH. The engine bay opens with a hydraulic operated power lift. The boat comes with a stainless prop. There is a nice red sunbrella cockpit cover included. The boat is/was adult owned. Freshwater boat. It runs great and appears to have always been very well maintained. The cuddie is nice and clean with no mildew. The boat had some wild Sony custom sound system installed, the face plate for the radio is missing and I don't know if the rest of it works. The boats bottom looks great, no scratch's or scars. The hull is solid and sound. The Plexiglas windscreen had a crack that was fixed properly with a special glue made for plastics such as, Plexiglas. The boat was not used this season, It will be re-winterized on 10/29 with a oil change and new water separator. This boat DOES NOT, come with a trailer, the trailer it is pictured on goes to a different boat and was used to bring the boat to my house to sell it, I can deliver it within 200 miles for a fee, or I can bring it to a local ramp to switch onto your trailer. 1997 Baja 240,Great boat. Runs fast 70 mph. 8.1L 425HP engine. New engine in 2002. Well maintained with service records. Added performance carb and distributor. Captain's choice exhaust! Stainless steel prop. New dual batteries with switch. Bilge pump. Kept on trailer under cover. Cockpit cover and full cover (no holes just aged). New aluminum wheels and radial tires. Kenwood stereo system w/ subwoofer and amp professionally installed. Newer upholstery in cuddy and on engine hatch. Seat coverings are in good condition but could stand to be updated (no holes). Hull is near mint condition. Comes with aluminum trailer with new aluminum wheels and radial tires. Trailers very well. Carpet is in good condition with no bad spots. Swim platform with folding ladder. I only use ethanol free gas. Full cover and snap on cockpit cover included. Screws on windshield need to be replaced as does the hinge for the engine cover. Side windshields (plastic) have become opaque but front shield is still clear. One small broken spot on side shield was there when I bought it in 2005. Will show to serious buyers.
