1987 Bayliner 2550 Fly Bridge THIS FLYBRIDGE FISHING BOAT HAS BEEN IN STORAGE FOR SEVERAL YEARS. OWNERS HEALTH FORCES SALE,,ONLY 183 HRS ON THE MARINE POWER 5.7 MPI MOTOR,THE ENGINE ALSO HAS A CLOSED COOLING SYSTEM, AND DUAL BATTERIES AND A COUPLE OF SPARE PROPS. THE TRAILER WAS PURCHASED NEW IN 2001 SHORLY AFTER THE OWNERS BEGAN TO HAVE HEALTH ISSUES AND USED VERY LITTLE THE 2550 HAS A WIDE BEAM (9'6) WHICH MAKES FOR A ROOMY CABIN,SLEEPING FOR SIX PERSONS,A LARGE ENCLOSED HEAD AND A FULL GALLEY WITH LOWER AND UPPER DRIVING STATIONS. THE COCKPIT IS LARGE FOR SPORT FISHING OR DIVING OR RELAXING WATCHING SUNSETS. THE BOAT IS EQUIPPED WITH SHORE POWER PANEL AND BATTERY CHARGER,VHF RADIO,GARMIN GPS,BIMINI TOP,WINDLASS AND PLOW ANCOR THE TRAILER IS BAJA THREE AXLE WITH SURGE BRAKES, NO RUST ON THIS ONE. Tony 860-978-9039 (I work for Tim PT and the boat is mine) Boat is a 1985 Bayliner Ciera 2550 Designer Edition and is 26' long and has a 10' beam... Engine was pulled out, cleaned, checked for any issues, painted and re-installed---boat was always used in fresh water and has not been used in salt as of yet--there isn't any corrosion. Manifolds are clean and good.... while out the PDS (gimbel) bearings on the jackshaft within the bell housings where replaced as well as the seals. Outdrive received new U-joints and upper half of drive was re-sealed... unit pressure checked OK and has fresh oil and paint. Boat was cleaned up, has new bottom paint, the boot strap was re-painted and the boat was given a good going over. Its not perfect but would make someone an excellent all around family cruiser. It is ready to go and is 100% mechanically... some additional elbow grease and wax would make this a real stunner. Engine ---305 Chevy V8 (5.0l) 225 hp with 4 bbl. Drive system is Volvo Penta 280. Trailer is Ez-Loader.... no papers for trailer. I will give bill of sale for boat and trailer and paperwork can be filed with DMV to have a supplemental VIN assigned to the trailer. Boat has forward berth, aft berth and the galley table goes down flat--it can easily sleep 6 and has a full marine head with shower. Hot water heater was shot and has been removed---replacement easily installed.
