A popular model for serious anglers, the Bertram 28 Bahia Mar shares the same beamy, deep-V hull as Bertram's highly regarded 28 Flybridge Cruiser and Sportfisherman models. The Bahia Mar is a well styled boat, and her low profile deckhouse and wraparound windshield reflect European styling influences.
Equally at home as an offshore fisherman or pocket cruiser, her low cockpit freeboard significantly improves her fishability. Service access to the engines is very good. The well appointed cabin includes a convertible dinette / V-berth forward, a full galley with refrigerator and 2 burner stove, and a roomy stand up head with shower.
She comes with a centerline windshield vent, two opening cabin ports, and 8 rod holders. This medium size express has a smooth ride and a cockpit that rivals many 35 foot boats with her 11 foot beam. Powered by twin fresh water cooled SBC 260 hp Mercruisers with only 775 hours. The engines run well and use 15 to 18 gallons per hour at 20 mph.
