General Description The C&C 38 was designed to I.O.R. rules to make her a competitive racer and cruiser with her tall rig and light displacement. The hull is molded fiberglass laminate with alternating layers of mat and roving, and fully balsa cored. The vessel has a fin keel and spade rudder. The mast is keel stepped.
The interior is oiled teak plywood bulkheads.
Actual ConditionThe overall appearance of the vessel exhibits some scrapes and scratches in the red finish. The vessel has rod rigging. The mast and rigging were in place while stored on the hard. She has been owned by the second owner since 1979.
It is recommended that you inspect the vessel prior to placing a bid.
EquipmentA trailer is not included in this sale.
EnginesThe engine in the vessel is a diesel Westerbeke. The Westerbeke L-25 is partially disassembled and is a candidate for replacement.
