There is really no hull slap and usually not much movement of the boat through wind waves. The safety of these dependable motors goes a long way in my book when we fished right up to dark a long way from home. The flexibility in fishing, especially with a group is special. If you have never seen the swim step on a GB, it is a huge platform, large enough to fish from, that fills the void between the engines. It is great for landing fish from!
