This Gibson is worn on the outside (gel coat). Current owner says the boat was actively in use in the years preceding his purchase one year ago. Gibson makes a nice houseboat. Travel to any marina in the West and you will most likely see one or more Gibson's. This one is a 1979 Boatel 36 footer located in Rio Vista, CA. It has been restored inside and is ready for a new owner. It has twin Volvo Penta 200 hp engines and an upper and lower helm. This boat sleeps up to four persons and could be used a liveaboard in the California Delta. The boat is nice on the inside, with a Hawaiian motif. The berth under the lower helm has a TV and queen size bed. The galley is complete with stove, microwave oven and refrigerator/freezer that works on gas & electric. Plan on visiting Rio Vista, CA and see it for yourself. Reason for selling is no longer using it.

1973 Gibson 36' Restored 1973 36' Gibson houseboat. New fridge, air conditioner, stove, generator, and gas grill. Floors/celings all have been replaced with new marine grade playwood and then fiberglassed and painted. Boat has the orginal Ford 302 225HP engine that runs perfect. This boat also has a working flybridge that most people enjoy driving from. The interior looks very nice with a double bed in the back of the boat. nice galley and the couch next to the helm will convert into a queen bed using the built in air mattres. The head has had all new walls installed. There are so many features that I just cannot list them all. Has to be seen to be appreciated. Interested buyers will be taken out for a test drive before final purchase. Boat is currently located on my property next to my pole barn for winter storage. From May to Sept the boat can be seen on the dock located at Salamonie Reservoir.

1990 Gibson Houseboat 36 Classic FB, ALABAMA STORE!! 1990 Gibson 36' Classic - This boat has a single 245 horsepower gas engine with a Volvo Penta drive. The exterior layout has a forward deck, a swim deck, a sun deck, and a fly bridge with operational helm. There is plenty of exterior space to take advantage of when you are docked or on the open water. The custom upper canopy covers the entire fly bridge and provides ample shade when you are ready to get out of the sun. The swim deck also has a handy little stainless steel grill mounted on the railing. The interior layout includes a stateroom, a salon with helm, a full galley, head with shower, and a cuddy cabin. The sofa in the stateroom folds out to make a queen size bed; the seating surface in the salon doubles as a comfortable place to sleep; and the cuddy cabin has one twin size bed with room for another. As you can see from the photos, the galley looks nothing like a standard Gibson. That's because the entire interior (including the galley) was completely remodeled around 2010. There is a ton counter space, custom cabinets, a double sink (with built-in drain board), and a pantry. Engine serviced and carburetor rebuilt in 2015. New bottom job done in 2014.
