The inboard engine has been removed and the inboard engine through-hole has been glassed over. No hauling it out and replacing the inboard engine seal! And no risk of boat sinking from the engine. Seacocks have been capped off from outside. Better this way as the risk of them breaking and sinking the boat is not an issue. Seacocks aren't used anyway, onboard holding tank is used instead. Most everywhere the boat has received a fresh coat of marine paint. In the last year the rails and old railing rusty bolts have been removed, bolt holes for railings treated with hardening epoxy and sealant, and rails reinstalled to the deck with new stainless steel bolts. At this time new cleats were also installed to the deck and bolts and bolt holes also retreated as the railing bolts were. A leaky window in the V-berth was deleted and sealed over with fiberglass. The window was not useful where it was located and would leak on rainy days so I had it removed. All external lights were replaced with new stainless steel lights that work great. Navigation lights also work great. Stock #345258 Timeless Elegance on the Water: Rediscover the Classic Beauty 1973 Brighton Boat Builders Hallmark Delta Clipper Houseboat. Maintenance has definitely been kept up on this one. The inside has been gutted of the original 1973 equipment and rebuilt with updated materials, appliances, and furnishings. The floor plan is redone in a very space-efficient manner. There is a living room, full kitchen (cabinets, sink, stove, oven, microwave), full bathroom with Raritan head, and shower, office, two different large storage areas, and a V-berth at the bow. There's also an upper deck for sun-bathing A custom outboard hoist has been installed on the stern. There are two NS-25 Nissan outboard engines mounted on the hoist for a total of 50 HP. They start and run great, these are extremely well built according to ouboard mechanics that have serviced them. Underpowered? Sure... shes not meant to go fast, but she will pass any harbor's requirement for the boat to be self-propelled as a lot of harbors require the boat to have working engines. 30 gallon tank for the new Raritan super flush head. 120v 6 gallon hot water heater. Three bilge pumps with water level sensors pump out water at three main collection areas of the bilge. There is a bilge vent installed where the old blower motor was so that there is adequate airflow in the bilge. The shower works off of pressurized shore water hookup, no 12v pump. 120v breakers for all electrical outlets and appliances. 12v +/- panels with all fuses working. Brand new marine grade water resistant 30A electrical cable to connect shore power. Recently installed stainless steel hose cable to connect to shore water. Standard marine band radio with antenna on roof. A custom internet system will come with boat. This is a special houseboat. She's very cozy inside and she's sure to charm you. Reason for selling is decided to buy sailboat.

1973 River Queen Starstream For Sale - Floating Condo with all the comforts of home. Expensive rentals are for the birds! Come live in this floating condo on the water and enjoy all the Bay Area has to offer without breaking the bank. After living on this houseboat for over three years, we are moving out of the area and cannot take it with us. Our loss is someone elses gain, though, because we have added many features to this houseboat that will provide comfort and convenience for the next owners. Additionally, we have been diligent about maintenance and recently passed the harbors test of proving the boat is seaworthy, so it could be moved to another harbor easily by its own power. Here are some of the features of our houseboat, The Terrapin: We are including all the comforts of home on this boat so you will not miss living ashore in the least bit. Plus, you will sleep peacefully and have the most beautiful views of the marina, sunrise/sunset, and the surrounding wildlife.Starting at the helm- We have a large Big Green Egg smoker and grill. Whether you enjoy delicious barbeque or you simply want to grill some of the delicious fish your neighbor shared with you, this bad boy gives consistent results and allows many different cooking methods. The Big Green Egg really adds a lot to boat life because it extends your kitchen to the outdoors and allows a nice relaxed dinner on the deck with friends. Indoors, we have replaced carpeting with a high-quality engineered hardwood throughout the whole interior. This means the floor looks like hardwood, but is durable, waterproof, and is super easy to sweep and mop. We have one area rug in the main cabin that will remain. We also have a surround sound and a 42-inch LED television that will remain (as well as a nice TV stand). We have a large toaster oven (can cook a whole pizza) that works to bake, broil, and roast just as a regular oven would, a large, powerful microwave, a Nespresso pod coffee maker which allows both coffee and espresso drinks, an induction burner and InstaPot to help with any other cooking needs and an apartment-sized fridge. We have invested in radiant heat panels in both the main cabin and the berth (bedroom). These take hardly any electrical power and warm you in the same way the sun rays do outdoors. They make a big difference on cool nights, allowing a bit of warmth without using a ton of power. Additionally, the houseboat comes with a newer Tempurpedic adjustable bed on a platform. This bed is super comfortable and theres a ton of storage underneath with the addition of the platform. We also built a closet from the Container Store to allow ample storage of clothes and shoes. We also upgraded the electrical system here at the marina to allow us to have 50 amps of power AND we moved some outlet carrying larger power items to different boards so they can run in tandem. Last but not least, we have a wa

The boat was built by Cheoy Lee in Hong-Kong, in 1976. Cheoy Lee 42, docked in Pillard Point (Half Moon Bay), registered in California. The boat is visible at Pillard Point marina, dock H-26. You can access the dock any time (there is no gate). If you want to see the inside, we will just need to agree on a time and date for me to show you. The boat is in good shape, we've been owning it, traveling and living on it since 2004. The engine will need some attention eventually, but it runs OK. Based on ads I see for similar boats, its value should be around $50,000, you can see it with the links below, they'll lead you to pictures . There was a recent storn and saome damge thgat was jsut foxed. But a starboard mizzen chain-plate got broken, and I am not going to be able to fix that quickly, it requires some time I don't have for now...Having a new chain-plate would take I believe less that $100, but it would take a couple of hours to put it in place. This is something a possible buyer should be aware of. Other than that this is perfect.http://donpedro.lediouris.net/journal/diary/2014.01/IMAG0518.jpghttp://trip-2010-2011.lediouris.netMore pictures of the inside are available at http://donpedro.lediouris.net/sleipnir/index.htmlAbout the maintenance, you can checkout the link at http://donpedro.lediouris.net/?view=protected/maintenance.html,Also, details on the equipment are available at http://donpedro.lediouris.net/clspec.html http://donpedro.lediouris.net/protected/maintenance.htmlsome pictures of the boat - inside and outside - available at http://donpedro.lediouris.net/?view=journal/index.html. read http://donpedro.lediouris.net.Details about the equipment (oven/stove, heater, watermaker, winches, auto-pilot, radio, electronics, etc). The boat has 9 sails (main, mizzen, trysail, new staysail, yankee, genoa, spinnaker, mizzen staysail, storm staysail).Mizzen and main have been recently (2014) reviewed and tuned-up by a Sailmaker. They are not new, but in OK shape. There is also a spinnaker sleeve.
