The exterior and hull have been painted and look very good for their age with only minor surface rust on the keel which should be expected on a steel hull boat. The interior is much nicer than the age would suggest as all the window beddings, seas and gaskets are water tight. Stock #308434 1974 RIVER QUEEN 44 HOUSEBOAT LOVINGLY RESTORED TO FULL GLORY GREAT LOOP This 1974 River Queen is a 44' houseboat located in Texarkana, Texas. Manufactured and designed near Lake Michigan, the River Queen boats were known for tremendous durability due to their thick steel hulls and the deep V design, which can easily cut through choppy water. The seller has taken a lot of time and expense over the past few years to bring this historic ship back to its former glory and is a fully functioning, ready-to-go rig according to the seller. The seller commissioned his own personal local marine mechanic to thoroughly go through the original 318 V8 engines All wiring was replaced in many places in the boat and it even has a fully functioning helm up on ht e fly bridge to complement the main helm in the lower salon/cockpit. You will find updated upholstery and the cabin to all be in terrific condition and the seller maintained the classic original look inside. The bilge area of the boat is easily accessible to service the engines and there is the spot where they took out the original generator and it is ready for a new on to be installed in its place but he has been using a portable on the aft deck and says it has served him well. Up front is s sturdy bow with a nice overhang to relax in the shade and the gangway access all the way around the boat is in good condition along with all the side rails. There are 4 solar panels uptop to provide constant charging for the batteries. A Lowrance GPS/Chartplotter will be included that was purchased recently and it is almost full on fuel. Speaking of fuel, the seller upgraded the fuel capacity and it now holds 180 gallons of fuel. The seller also states the two engines run flawlessly and power the boat very well. Looking for a versatile steel hull vessel with all the qualities of a houseboat and pleasure cruiser? This River Queen is a must-see! Reason for selling is age/health.

1973 River Queen Starstream For Sale - Floating Condo with all the comforts of home. Expensive rentals are for the birds! Come live in this floating condo on the water and enjoy all the Bay Area has to offer without breaking the bank. After living on this houseboat for over three years, we are moving out of the area and cannot take it with us. Our loss is someone elses gain, though, because we have added many features to this houseboat that will provide comfort and convenience for the next owners. Additionally, we have been diligent about maintenance and recently passed the harbors test of proving the boat is seaworthy, so it could be moved to another harbor easily by its own power. Here are some of the features of our houseboat, The Terrapin: We are including all the comforts of home on this boat so you will not miss living ashore in the least bit. Plus, you will sleep peacefully and have the most beautiful views of the marina, sunrise/sunset, and the surrounding wildlife.Starting at the helm- We have a large Big Green Egg smoker and grill. Whether you enjoy delicious barbeque or you simply want to grill some of the delicious fish your neighbor shared with you, this bad boy gives consistent results and allows many different cooking methods. The Big Green Egg really adds a lot to boat life because it extends your kitchen to the outdoors and allows a nice relaxed dinner on the deck with friends. Indoors, we have replaced carpeting with a high-quality engineered hardwood throughout the whole interior. This means the floor looks like hardwood, but is durable, waterproof, and is super easy to sweep and mop. We have one area rug in the main cabin that will remain. We also have a surround sound and a 42-inch LED television that will remain (as well as a nice TV stand). We have a large toaster oven (can cook a whole pizza) that works to bake, broil, and roast just as a regular oven would, a large, powerful microwave, a Nespresso pod coffee maker which allows both coffee and espresso drinks, an induction burner and InstaPot to help with any other cooking needs and an apartment-sized fridge. We have invested in radiant heat panels in both the main cabin and the berth (bedroom). These take hardly any electrical power and warm you in the same way the sun rays do outdoors. They make a big difference on cool nights, allowing a bit of warmth without using a ton of power. Additionally, the houseboat comes with a newer Tempurpedic adjustable bed on a platform. This bed is super comfortable and theres a ton of storage underneath with the addition of the platform. We also built a closet from the Container Store to allow ample storage of clothes and shoes. We also upgraded the electrical system here at the marina to allow us to have 50 amps of power AND we moved some outlet carrying larger power items to different boards so they can run in tandem. Last but not least, we have a wa

I don't need to sell the old girl just went to a bigger boat i have her listed local so I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime thanks for looking... this boat will have to be moved dew to the fact im keeping the slip that its in the boat will have to be removed from the marina.
