A couple can cruise this easy sailing yacht with lots of speed & control. She is handsome, comfortable, a fierce competitor, and will inspire the most experienced race crews at the club level & major long-distance down wind events. She has performed very well in some of the most demanding races including Transpac, Lahaina Return, Kauai Channel Race and the Mexican Regattas.She is wonderful venue for corporate events and intimate social entertaining. She has undergone many recent up grades & equipment additions; aluminum mast & boom 2005 & marine diesel 42 hp engine 2007 with a well maintained foam core fiberglass hull.In 2005 the following was done at KKMI over 6 months under the guidance of Bill Erkelens:New Deck & Cabin top layout & gelcoat. All hardware removed & updated eliminating 9 winches & 8 clutches to bring the boat to modern configuration.Steering station moved aft in cockpitNew Mast, boom, standing & running rigging, boom vang & backstay were replaced (Ballenger Spars.)All Steering gear was renewed, large 52" destroyer wheel installed.New 42 Gal.
