Per the seller, All systems are in good working condition with no known issues. Within the past few months, termites have been found on the boat. There does not appear to be any obvious damage (such as soft wood) and it is possible for a new buyer to have the boat "tented" in the water to eradicate them. Standing rigging is over 15 years old and will be recommended to be replaced in any survey. The Perkins diesel starts easily, runs well, and has good compression. The last haul-out and bottom job was at the beginning of March 2018. This included an antifouling paint to the hull, thru-hulls inspected, sea strainer cleared, and zincs replaced. She is due for another haul-out. Brightwork on the top side will need some attention. Stock #277274 Center Cockpit with En Suite Aft Cabin; Autopilot + GPS, AC, 2 Cabins, 2 Heads Make this your floating holiday escape or dream liveaboard in the Hawaiian Islands! This clean, comfortable, and spacious Endeavour 42 has been well cared for by her owner and is ready for new adventures! However, within the past few months, termites have been found on the boat. There does not appear to be any obvious damage (such as soft wood) and it is possible for a new buyer to have the boat "tented" in the water to eradicate them. What the owner loves best about the Endeavour 42 is the clever accommodation and "floating hotel" feel. The center cockpit configuration allows for an island queen in the aft cabin, which is the most desired layout with these types of cruisers. There is also a V-berth forward along with dual settee conversions. Per the Seller: The diesel engine starts and runs great. Regular maintenance has always been performed. Although the hours are unknown, an upper-end estimate would be around 2,600 hours - but this is probably much less. Some of the many features and upgrades include: -- Central Air Unit - 16,000 BTU - New in 2016 -- New Water Tanks (2012) -- New Cabin Sole (2012) -- New Galley Sink (2012) -- New Galley Granite Counter Top (2012) -- Galley Formica Paneling Replaced with Wood (2012) Navigation Electronics and Safety Equipment: -- EPIRB -- Raymarine E12 GPS/Chartplotter with 12" Color Display in Cockpit (New in 2007; Factory Refurbished in 2016) -- 8" GPS/Chartplotter at Navigation Station Below Deck (New in 2007) -- Autopilot (2007) The hull has balsa cored topsides with plywood for compression strength and solid glass below the waterline. Around 257 of these boats were built between 1985 and 1991, and it is considered a comfortable, good value cruiser and liveaboard. Of the west coast of Florida builders, Endeavour generally ranks second behind Gulfstar and ahead of Morgan and Irwin in quality construction. The slip is NOT transferable. Buyers will need to have a slip lined up before requesting a showing if planning to keep the boat in Hawaii. While the situation changes regularly, there is a long waiting list at most marinas in Hawaii. Reason for selling is relocation.

I've lived on her last five years dockside, underway, on the hard, at anchor and sailing cruising often solo across 20,000 miles of ocean from Seattle down West Coast thru Hawaii into South Pacific & back to Hawaii. I had a two phase plan to refit, fix her up allowing me to enjoy cruising the Pacific Ocean and isles. I completed phase one but developed a condition two years past that now forces me to sell. An alternative to paying $150,000 for a similar in excellent condition or $80,000 with a running old engine worn and soon to fail or mandates a rebuild. Is to buy cheap get a great hull, good rigging & sail gear, anchoring system, versatile spacious interior to be used as is & continue remodeling or redo to your own liking while enjoying life aboard and/or sailing. Or an alternative housing scenario. That alternative is this. The 2010 survey put the boat at a $400,000 replacement cost, a $115,000 - $140,000 refit complete value and $85,000 market value. The prior owner needed a survey for bank loan and insurance. 2010 survey available upon request plus 2012 addendum.
