Great condition throughout. According to the seller, there are no known issues and everything is in good working order other than the generator which is not working. She has an annual USCG auxiliary inspection to ensure all required safety equipment is on board. Please inquire for a free Boat History Report - it's all good! Please Note: An in-water survey, mechanical inspection and/or water trial are all available for this vessel but due to the distance, a haul-out survey will not be available. Stock #257662 Great Liveaboard! Solid -- 2 ACs -- Screened in Aft Deck - Water Heater! - Spacious, Bright and Clean!!! Make this your floating holiday condo in Hawaii with 'all inclusive ocean activities' -- deep sea fishing, scuba diving, whale watching and cruising the islands -- at your fingertips! VERY LOW ORIGINAL HULL and ENGINE HOURS!!! Don't let this opportunity pass you by!!! Affordable liveaboards in great condition like this are rare in the Hawaiian islands. This spacious yet cozy vessel sleeps 2 and is bright, airy and well-appointed throughout. This beauty shows true pride of ownership throughout. Unfortunately, her owners now have to let her go! The master stateroom forward has a queen island bed and plenty of storage. The adjacent head has a Marine Air flushing toilet with macerator, shower, sink, vanity and mirror. In the open plan salon, you'll find a dinette and galley. The dinette does not currently convert into a double sleeper but an insert could easily be added. The futon-style settee pictured will not be included but could easily be replaced with a new one. The galley provides an under-counter fridge/freezers, a 2-burner stove top, microwave and double basin porcelain sink as well as ample counter and storage space. When not on the flybridge enjoying the view, you'll appreciate the lovely aft deck for evening cocktails and even working from 'home.' She also boasts all the creature comforts you'll need, including TWO 16,000 BTU air conditioners and a hot water heater. The 6.5kw gas generator is currently not working and the issue has not been diagnosed. The owner recommends removing the generator and using that large space under the aft deck for storage. It could easily be replaced by a portable and much more compact Honda-type generator. Navigational electronics are older and have rarely been used. A new buyer might want to upgrade them. She was last hauled in Feb 2020. Full bottom paint + all thru-hulls and seacocks changed. Please note the slip is NOT transferable. Active duty military can apply to be on the waiting list or there are most likely slips available at Keehi Marine Center or Keehi Small Boat Harbor. Please give them a call before requesting a showing. Reason for selling is moving to shore.

This is one of the finest boats you'll find in Hawaii in this price and size range. All photos are recent and accurate. Like most used boats for sale in the islands, she is due for a haul-out and bottom job. The monthly diver says she'd down to her last barrier coat. The owner reports the boat to be in very good condition, with all systems, accessories and appliances in good working order. The only known issues are: The freezer is not currently working. It will need a new compressor. It functions fine as an ice box as is. There are stanchions and lifelines missing on the aft port side from the back of the boat to the cockpit, which will need to be replaced. The foot pedal for the windlass is not working. This has never been needed so it was never addressed. One winch on the port side of the cockpit is a bit stiff and will need to be oiled or rebuilt. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We always recommend buyers get an up-to-date professional inspection/survey to ensure everything is satisfactory in it's current condition as part of buyer's due diligence. READY FOR OFFERS! MAKE AN OFFER - ALL REASONABLE OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED!!! This stunning Morgan 44 Catalina Center Cockpit Masthead Sloop is in excellent condition and ready to go right now for inter-island sailing or full-time liveaboard! She is a wonderful example of true pride of ownership. The photos reflect her true, current condition and you will not be disappointed. This is a very impressive vessel!!! *** The slip may be transferable for active duty or retired military with an accepted application. *** Below deck, the main salon is clean, spacious and brightly decorated. The dinette area consists of port and starboard settees with a center-line mounted folding table. The port settee converts into a double sleeper for two guests, while the starboard sleeps one. Forward of the salon is the v-berth with dual access headroom with a marine head, sink, and mirror. To starboard mid-ship, the galley is very spacious and well equipped with plenty of counter space and storage. Along with a NovaCool refrigerator, there is also an extra-large 12V DC icebox, dual basin sink with hot and cold pressurized water, a Hillerange gimbaled 2-burner propane stove with oven, and an Emerson microwave. Directly across from the galley is the navigation station, which would also work well as an onboard office. The companionway aft of the navigation station leads to the engine room and main stateroom. The main stateroom has a queen-sized berth with recently upgraded memory foam mattress and an en suite private headroom with a marine head, sink, vanity, mirror, and bathtub/shower. It is very unusual for a vessel of this size to have a full standing room stateroom with a queen bed accessible from both sides! The woodwork and cabinetry are very impressive and in excellent condition. All of the countertops, sink basins, and faucets in the galley and both heads were replaced in 2014/2015. There is also teak and holly sole flooring and LED lighting throughout. With seven opening hatches in the deck, 12 opening ports, and two fixed windows in the cabin, there is plenty of natural light and airflow below deck. Anyone wanting to continue to live aboard in Hawaii or just relax at the dock will appreciate the Dometic Marine air conditioning system, which keeps this beauty VERY COOL, easily maintaining 66 - 68 degrees F during the hottest days of summer. With the full-length Sunbrella awning up, it alone can easily keep the boat's interior 10 degrees cooler! The Dometic Marine Air unit also has a heating mode if desired. The 44HP Yanmar diesel has low hours, starts easily, and runs smoothly. It's in remarkably good condition, especially for its age. The most recent diesel inspection was in 2018. The desirable center-cockpit design has ample cockpit seating and storage as well as a spacious aft deck which would be perfect for a large sun pad. She is sailed regularly and all sails, standing rigging, most of the running rigging, sail covers, dodger, bimini, etc. appear to be in good to very good condition. All lifelines were recently replaced with the hardware being lifted and resealed. The deck is very solid with no soft spots and the non-skid paint looks practically brand new. Significant upgrades since 2015 (approximately $50K value) include: -- Dometic Marine Air Conditioning system -- Full Boat Awning, Sunbrella Canvas Sun Shade -- Memory Foam Mattress in the Aft Stateroom -- All Safety Lines Replaced; Hardware Lifted and Resealed -- Installed Galvanic Isolator -- Added Inboard Shore Power Panel With 2 Shore Power Circuit Breakers -- Installed Second 30 Amp Shore Power -- MasterVolt PowerCombi pure sine wave inverter charger 50A/1200W -- New Water Heater -- Entire Steering Line Assembly Replaced -- Engine Control System on Helm and down to diesel Replaced -- Diesel Drive Shaft and Propeller Replaced -- New House and Starter Batteries (2 West Marine 4D AGM batteries for the house bank in 2019, 2 West Marine group 27 for the engine start bank in 2019) -- Fuel and Fuel Tank Cleaned -- Fuel Gauge Installed -- Fuel Tank Access Ports Added -- Magma Grill included (exterior mounted.) -- TV (Flat Screen) with great pivot/mounting system. There are two freshwater tanks holding a total of 215 gallons. There is also a hand pump filtration system in the galley. There is also a direct-connect water hose connection with an over-pressure regulator, which can bypass the water tanks to directly use shore water, meaning tanks do not always need to be refilled. The condensate drain sump for the Air Conditioning unit also serves as a secondary bilge pump. All of the thru-hull valves are Marelon valves, which is significant because Marelon does not corrode. Extras include: -- Several miscellaneous spares, including engine mounts and window seals/gaskets for all hatches/windows. -- Some spare mooring/anchoring lines and sheets/halyards. -- All life jackets and pillows/cushions on board. -- Sunbrella covers for rails and winches topside as well as the helm. -- Cockpit cushions (rarely used.) The headroom is approximately 6'2"-6'4" throughout. Please Note: -- The anchor system is on a roller. -- The bottom is cleaned and checked every month and is in good condition. The zincs are replaced every 3-5 months. *** The owner is also open to delivering the boat to neighboring islands or outside of Hawaii with a per diem and expenses covered. I've lived on her last five years dockside, underway, on the hard, at anchor and sailing cruising often solo across 20,000 miles of ocean from Seattle down West Coast thru Hawaii into South Pacific & back to Hawaii. I had a two phase plan to refit, fix her up allowing me to enjoy cruising the Pacific Ocean and isles. I completed phase one but developed a condition two years past that now forces me to sell. An alternative to paying $150,000 for a similar in excellent condition or $80,000 with a running old engine worn and soon to fail or mandates a rebuild. Is to buy cheap get a great hull, good rigging & sail gear, anchoring system, versatile spacious interior to be used as is & continue remodeling or redo to your own liking while enjoying life aboard and/or sailing. Or an alternative housing scenario. That alternative is this. The 2010 survey put the boat at a $400,000 replacement cost, a $115,000 - $140,000 refit complete value and $85,000 market value. The prior owner needed a survey for bank loan and insurance. 2010 survey available upon request plus 2012 addendum.
