This project was just completed. Features a '58 Corvette 283 with '57 Corvette FI heads, new Edelbrock manifold and 500 cfm carb. Joe Hunt Magneto with Taylor wires. Engine and boat have test time only, 1 hour, 56 minutes total. a complete running log book will be furnished to the buyer. Vintage Hilborn mechanical fuel injection is available at extra cost. Boat has undergone a complete rebuild, each part or component being either rebuilt, fabricated, or OEM replaced. Marine hardware is Nicson and gaskets were manf. from original templates. Military spec(AN) nuts and bolts throughout. A new aluminum fuel tank was manf. and race foam filled. Seats were made from sheet metal, ribbed, and upholstered in heavy weight vinyl. Mounts are contained in a single piece of oak, aluminum channel reinforced. Seat package removes as one piece.Side exhaust system was built from scratch utilizing aluminum and silicon tubing. Silicon is 5 ply and designed for wet exhaust systems. The entire wiring system was replaced utilizing marine grade components. Each wire is protected with blade circuits. All connections were crimped, soldered and heat shrink wrapped. Gauges are Stewart Warner Wings with electric senders. A master cut off switch is wired directly to the new Optima battery.The bottom was replaced by the previous owner who also rebuilt the engine. He experienced some overheating problems which was a result of a water pump vane disintegrating and plugging the water ports in the block and heads. All the rubber slag was located and removed. Paint is PPG OMNI Urethane over a fiberglas wrap, which was restored before paint. Trailer was restored with new bearings, wheels, tires, wiring, lights, carpets, et al. Red parts are powder coated, and the black is Gator Poly bed liner paint. Will go 26 mph . comes with live well , front mount 40lb thrust motor guide trolling motor with foot control. Boat has a ton of storage . always garage when not in use. Have title for both boat and trailer. This boat is ready to fish the day its sold. Hate to see it go but need the room cause I upgraded. If I could store it I wouldnt sell. Its a very fun sweet little boat.
