Cobalt Quality, Cobalt Performance, Cobalt Fun, Nothing Else To Say!
This Cobalt 262, bowrider / sport boat featuring the distinctive, retractable "Bimini Arch" and a 375 horsepower, fresh water cooled (with stainless risers) fuel injected Mercruiser engine and twin counter-rotating propeller Bravo Three stern drive delivers exhilarating performance and handling, a "driver's boat" for those who like to drive boats.
With a top speed approaching 60 mph and most efficient cruise at around 30, you have a useful range of almost 200 miles yet the ability to beat the weather to safe harbor if things turn nasty, not too small a comfort to have in an open boat.
Thanks to ample comfortable seating for and aft and a smooth, dry, and when desired short and quick ride, the boat is equally at ease whether delivering well dressed guests to your favorite waterfront dining establishment or ripping around with skiers or tube in tow.
An enclosed head contains a pump-out porta potty for adult or cherub emergencies, and for the sporting set in addition to the large swim platform and ski pylon there is plenty of stowage for gear, including two transom wet lockers, a ski locker under deck and a large compartment in the front of the helm console.
So, for the ultimate in all-around day boating machines, it's tough to beat the Cobalt 262, a popular upscale choice for years.
Finally, if you are looking at Cobalt, you probably already know about Cobalt... nothing but top-shelf in materials and workmanship, they hold up very well and even if neglected by an owner or two over a decade or two they will polish up like a gemstone and virtually all replacement parts are still available. Cobalt is one of the few brands of any boat one might call a sensible investment, and if not the most sensible, a Cobalt is certainly one of them.
Reason for selling is extra boat, keeping the big one..
