This 1987 Carver is in very good condition for a 36 year old boat. The bimini and the flybridge enclosure with isinglass are in very good condition. The upholstery of the flybridge seating is discolored but in good condition. Per the seller all of the appliances are working. Was unable to find the hour meter on the generator. This boat is in nice condition. The gel coat could use a buffing The flybridge and sundeck canvasses are in good condition. The captain's and passenger seats are very good. The isinglass needs buffing. Down below, the cabin is in nice shape, the headliner is clean and well attached, and the seller reports the appliances and air conditioners all work. The hull is in great condition. The floor is solid all around. All the windows are in good shape. All the gauges are working, all the electronics are working too. The overall hull condition looks good for the age of the boat. There are a few minor blemishes expected on a boat of this age and it would benefit from a good polish job. The seller has regularly had a diver go under the boat and clean the bottom as well as inspect for soft spots, etc, and says it is still in good condition. The front spotlight is currently not working. All appliances, generator,s and interior heat and a.c are fully functional. The speedometer does not work. Heaters work. The fan on the air conditioner works, but the compressor does not. The water system and heads work fine. This Carver is in very nice condition overall with lots of upgrades to make this a clean and comfortable full time liveaboard. The starboard engine longblock was replaced (4/22) and has around 120 hours run time. All of the salon flooring was installed in June 2022 (Cortec waterproofed wood and nice carpet in the sleeping quarters). Bottom job completed in June 2022. The electronics package is nice with radar, GPS plotter, and sonar/depth. The gel coat, isinglass enclosure, and all upholstery appear in great condition. The galley fridge and freezer is newer and the microwave was also recently replaced. The aft deck icemaker is inop. Stock #361088 Lots of updates. Newer equipment. Dual engines. Two cold air conditioners. Generator. Liveaboard or looper ready! 1998 Carver 355 Aft Cabin Motor Yacht This is a rare find in this nice condition. The interior has been renovated.
