A great chance to own something that looks like a classic, but built much stronger and much newer, with a much newer engine. This vessel was custom-built for the original owner. This vessel is powered by a 3056 Caterpillar engine that produces 205 HP. Low hours on the engine are currently sitting at 233 hours. The helm is a center keel design allowing for good visibility while captaining the vessel, to the left of the helm is a small space with a pump-out toilet and to the right side is the entrance to the cuddy cabin area. The cuddy cabin area has nice space, there is a dinette, sink, and large cushioned bow berth space for sleeping or napping. The rear seating space at the stern comes fully cushioned as well, shown in the pictures. Also, the entire cockpit space is shaded with a large bimini and hard top with a windshield. The visiting and local consulant visited and took all the pictures felt the vessel was in average condition for age. The interior was clean, majority of the cushions were in nice condition, the front helm seat did show signs of sun damage and minor tears at the seams. The exterior hull, yellow in color, could use a nice buffing to bring the full color back. There were some minor scratches in around the exterior, shown in the pictures. The local and visiting consultant was impressed by the seating and space this boat offers. Some of the cushions, shown in the photos have signs of sun damage, but they are all free from rips and tears. The hull was in average condition, would shine right up with a buff and wax. The trailer looked to be in towable condition, the seller reports they move the vessel often without issue. Stock #303200 Excellent condition 236 Sunesta! Clean interior! Loaded and ready to fish or cruise! 2005 Chaparral 236 Sunesta Bowrider/Deck Boat powered with upgraded 5.7L MerCruiser base engine. This Chapparral is designed with the sleek style of a sport boat, the interior spaciousness, and the storage capacity of a traditional deck boat and the quality appointments of a Chaparral. The seller has had a remanufactured 5.7L long block replaced in the vessel, the seller does have records showing the conversation and replacement. The total hull and engine hours are 315, but since the long block they report only 10 hours of use on the engine. There is plenty of seating and storage at all three areas of the boat, stern large sun lounge and seating, dual swivel cockpit seats, and large wrap around seating in the bow area. This vessel has boarding ladders at the stern and the bow. There are freshwater rinse locations at both, the seller not aware if the pump is working, has not used that function. The seller also has a large majority of replacement material for the seating, will include with the purchase. There is also a large changing space with door, this space can also house a porta-potti, if needed. Large centerline storage for water sports gear and accessories.
