Overall, the condition seems very good for the year of the boat. The owners indicate that all systems are operating properly. She looks to be in good condition. Sails and rigging are in fair shape and are ready to be used. There is no hour meter for the motor. Stock #274278 Excellent 1978 Cal 27, Regularly Maintained! Powered by a 10HP Ferryman Engine! Lots of Extras Included! Very nice CAL 27. This sailboat is perfect for the Bay area, she is light, stable and can take a good breeze. If you are looking for a basic easy sailing boat, she is the one!! With a nice ample wide beam of 9 feet, what first impresses is the space in the cockpit and the space down below. It feels open and airy due to the side windows and the updated portholes through out. Comfortable seating on both sides of the cabin, and nice storage from stem to stern. As you walk below, the aft cabin is a chart table work area, with a very large icebox. All electrical primarily 12V switches are on the aft bulkhead. Moving forward in the cabin you reach the midship bulkhead and just ahead you have a porta-potty and cold water sink and a good size V-berth. This CAL 27 points well and sails like a dream, the owner confirms. Reason for selling is leaving the area.

1979 Grand Banks 36 Classic *This is a solid vessel that runs strong and is mechanically and structurally in great shape, however she does need TLC* There are some boats that have been with us for so long—and are so popular—that they have attained classic status. The Grand Banks 36 is such a boat. She was the first model in the Grand Banks fleet, and over 1,200 were built during her production years. (Note that the original GB 36 was built of Philippine mahogany until mid-1973 when the transition to fiberglass was made.) A semi- displacement hull with a long keel, hard chines and a deep forefoot provide the stability that has won the 36 a reputation for seaworthiness unmatched by boats in her class. Several twin-stateroom interiors were offered over the years, all finished with handcrafted teak woodwork and all incorporating the very best in workmanship, hardware and materials. Topside, raised bulwarks provide security to the walkaround decks, and there’s room for a dinghy on the aft cabintop. Notable features include teak decks, a functional mast and boom, direct cockpit access from the aft stateroom, and a spacious flybridge. Note that in 1988 the Grand Banks 36 was invisibly updated when six inches were added to the length and the beam was increased by four inches. This GB 36 is powered by twin 120hp Lehman diesel engines. The Grand Banks 36 Classic has an unequalled reputation for quality of build & finish as well as economical operation. These rugged, simple handsome yachts have provided their owners with many a thousand of safe and comfortable cruising miles. This particular Classic 36 is a must see for anyone considering a vessel of this class. She is currently at home in a freshwater slip and awaits your inspection. 2 Staterooms, 2 heads, galley up, lower helm with door leading out to starboard, excellent walk-around deck, spacious flybridge, and great visibility from the lower helm. With her cozy teak interior, parquet sole and great views from every direction in the salon the 36 Grand Banks is a timeless boat that, over a long period of time, has proven to be worthy of its reputation. Don't miss out, as the owners want her to be the next Classic 36 sold. An all round seaworthy performer, the Grand Banks 36 Classic is capable of real deep water cruising. Long keel, 26,000 lb displacement, hard chine, and a deep forefoot hull provide stability and seaworthiness. The aft house superstructure incorporates a seat box which adds extra livable space inside the aft cabin. Hig
