1978 Peterson Custom 35 s/v Meyden is a special boat, a great sailing choice, and in very nice condition.  Designed by Doug Peterson, she's the better-built Canadian version of his 1 ton cup racer Ganbare (1973).  Builder Don Martin added additional ribs, stiffening up the hull and providing much more support for the keel.  The tall owner had the coach-house raised for 6' 4" headroom, fitted her out, and launched in 1982.  Lovingly maintained and varnished, Meyden did a few Swiftsure and local races, and has been the family cruiser for years.  This is a serious sailors boat, not a first boat, maybe a second, and one that will sail upwind way better than most.  She's not as roomy as a C&C or Catalina, and too heavy to be competitive in the short buoy races, but let her run and she will be a delight to sail.If you are interested in a special boat, at a very fair price, call me and let's talk about this preliminary listing.
