1980 CAL 392 Twin Cabin This is a very attractive and well maintained boat. The gel coat on the hull shines, the sails have all just been cleaned and the boat is ready to go on a new adventure. The galley sports a brand new Force 10 stove, the interior upholstery is all new and there are no "funny" smells. From a John Kretschmer review: The Cal 39 is an ideal boat to consider for long-range cruising, especially if your budget is under $70,000 and you need private accommodations but don't want to sacrifice good sailing. 1984 Amel Maramu Few boats are actually "turn key" ready to take you around the world. This one has returned from that adventure and appears as "ready to go again". Amel Maramu boats are widely respected as Ocean Cruising Yachts although not well known here in the States. The ketch rig makes for easy handling plus the sail trim can be managed for the most part from the security of the deep, center cockpit. This boat very recently came from Hawaii to Sitka, Alaska then here to Seattle after nearly circumnavigating the globe having started in Florida. Many recent upgrades including new rigging and constant care and maintenance make this lovely boat a great choice if you've got an itch to see the world. The seller reports after 24 years of loving and caring ownership he has replaced, repaired and renewed systems and features on this vessel having spent over $21,000 just since May 2016. Here is a YouTube link to another Amel Maramu crossing the Atlantic. Clearly, this is a very capable Ocean Cruising Yacht. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_EB5YM7D-Y I asked the seller to share with me his reasoning initially purchased the Amel. The following is an excerpt from that reply; "As we neared the end of our extensive search for the 'perfect cruising yacht', one major factor kept popping into our heads. Which one of these boats would get us around the world the safest? And hands down it became clear that it was the Amel. In a seaway with all of the hand holds and deep cockpit, water tight doors, ketch rig {smaller and easier-to-handle sails} stainless steel lifelines, hard dodger where most of the sail trim can be handled from the security of the cockpit, we no longer felt anything on the market compared. For practicality the Amel really is unsurpassed!" I'm happy to share a full description and stories of their circumnavigation -- contact me. These boat details are subject to contract. Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.

1976 Ingrid 38 Cutter The Ingrid design by William Atkin is patterned after the Colin Archer double end rescue craft "the Redningskoite." Bluewater Boats of Washington State began production of the fiberglass model in 1971. It quickly became extremely popular with more than 140 built. Many were sold as bare hulls to be finished out by buyers or other boat builders. They were variously completed as gaff or Marconi cutter or ketch rigs. They are well known for their sea keeping qualities and have provided safe comfortable world cruising. The family selling this particular Ingrid reports that it was purchased in 1986 by a professional marine engineer who made many alterations and improvements during his ownership. With the tanbark sails, attractive hard dodger, and beautiful traditional lines this boat makes a salty statement wherever it is seen. These boat details are subject to contract.Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.

1956 Herreshoff Marco Polo 56 Corten steel frames create the bones of this lovely L. Francis Herreshoff Marco Polo 56. Over these steel frames traditional mahogany plank-on-frame construction techniques have rendered a strong, ocean going, family cruiser. This vessel, shortly after completion sailed her family on the 1957 Trans-Pacific race, then known as the "Honolulu Race". The family reports they came in dead last as the matriarch aboard refused to allow the "boys" to have the sails up at night! Since that time she has sailed the Northwest waters until in 1996 she was hauled for a major remodel and design change of the cabin, decks and interior, all performed by Legendary Yachts in Washougal, WA. Dry stored since that time the sellers report she needs some rigging, both standing and running, navigation electronics plus some hull work. The president of Legendary Yachts thought about $50,000 would put her in excellent sea-worthy condition again. This is clearly a capable world cruising vessel. These boat details are subject to contract.Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
