The 1971 Jespersen 40' Trawler is a solid built masterpiece by the Jespersen Boat Builders in Victoria, BC. Inspired by the iconic Ed Monk designs, this vessel has a spacious and comfortable cabin which makes a perfect weekend cruiser or long adventure liveaboard.
The Original Owner cherished her for an impressive 38 years and one day, spending an awe-inspiring 25 summers cruising the West Coast of Vancouver Island, Queen Charlottes, and taking many ventures up to Skagway, Alaska.
The Jespersen 40' Trawler is known for its exceptional stability even in the roughest seas. With stabilizers that effortlessly correct a 35-degree roll in high seas to just 5 degrees allowing you to cruise with confidence.
Crafted with attention to detail, the sturdy hull is constructed of mahogany planks, reinforced with white oak ribs, and boasting an ironbark bow that runs the distance of the waterline giving the Jespersen the reputation of the 100-year hull!

The exterior needs new topside paint and varnish. The interior could use some detailing as well. just need cosmetic maintenance to bring it back to great condition as described above.

1960 Defever 47 Trawler One can tell from the equipment list and the photos that though this boat is 55 years old it has had continued care and upgrades since the day it was launched. The seller has owned Pau Hana ll for the past 30 years, has cruised offshore extensively from Mexico to Alaska and he is only the second owner. These Defever designs are born from the needs of the Pacific Tuna fleets of southern California. They needed to provide safe, economical voyages of long duration in all kinds of weather. What developed has become the design standard of the modern day pleasure trawler. Defever and Lindwall worked together and in the 1960's built 10 offshore trawlers from 40' to 58', Pau Hana ll is one of them. On board is a note book of photos from the original building. 1993 Camano 31 Trawler The Camano 31 Trawler is well known in the Pacific Northwest, and with her Keelform hull, sturdy construction, huge fly-bridge they have earned a reputation as a very capable small cruising trawler. Additionally, this vessel is registered as a LLC and participates in the WindWorks charter program in Seattle. Built with the BMW engine these engines have proven to be exceedingly reliable and parts are readily available.
