Touted as one of the best sea keeping hulls ever built the 61 Davis has been recognized by writers and fisherman a like. This 65 is just an extention of that popular hull with only a few built by Carson "Buddy' Davis. Built with Fiberglass and not molded, the 65 is a battle wagon in most sea conditions maintaining speeds in the upper 20's in most conditions and upper 30's at the top of the throttle.
THIS BUDDY DAVIS IS A WELL MAINTAINED FISHING MACHINE.
Just like the builder himself, the Davis hull has been as solid at raising fish and this boat is no exception. With many billfish to her credit this is a true Carolina Marlin machine. With the angle of the hull the boat lays out very little disturbance making dredge fishing for Marlin a blast. Truly a World class fishing vessel.
BUILT IN 1998 BUT MANY UPGRADES AND IMPROVEMENTS IN 2014-2016.The current owner has been very diligent at maintaining the integrity and look of this beautiful classic. Many upgrades and work have been to this Davis including:
