This Classic Carlson Bowrider is a good, sound boat, ready for fun on the water. The color is Emerald Mist. Cosmetically, she shows her age, but she has been well taken care of and kept covered and garaged. This is a very nice, clean boat. The gelcoat is all original, has not been repainted or worked on. The only part that has been sanded and re-cleared is the deck lid. This boat would really shine up with some sanding. The first 6 years of it's life it was docked for the season, so it has some waterline pitting. I have repalnted the stern drive at least once and it's due for a better paint job, that's for sure. Mechanically, it has been well maintained. The engine has very little use for it's age and is a very strong 305 Chevy small block, completely original except for one new intake manifold, which had developed a crack from freezing in its early years. I bought the boat in March of 1984 and it had not been winterized that year. It has a new fuel pump and new fuel lines, a newer starter, and a newer water pump. The Gimbal and shift cable was replaced and everything works as it should. The engine starts every time, year after year, we run it and winterize it and put it back in the garage and cover it up. She just hasn't seen much use since we bought a new ski boat in '99. The floor has been replaced and has newer carpet. The uplholstery has all been replaced. The rear bench seat support was rebuilt. The passenger side windshield has a split down the middle but has been sealed. Replacement windshields are available. The trailer is the original Culver Trailer, all aluminum, in very good condition. Will never rust. The steps have been replaced with treated wood and painted with Olympic wood stain. The tires have very little wear, but as they were new in 99, they are aged. If you're driving it a long distance, should probably have them checked. This is an excellent barefoot boat. It has the best longline wake of any boat I've been behind. The gunnel mount boom is ideal for shortlining and for learning to barefoot or whatever you want to do out there. Anything else you need to know, hopefully you will be able to see the details in the pictures. We also have video of it running and on the water if you live too far away to come check it out. Our closest lake is Pleasant Hill near Mohican SP, about a 45 min drive from our home. We would be willing to take her to the lake for a test drive for the buyer.
