Great boat in need of some cosmetics. Twin Throttle Body Fuel injected 454's. Engines, transmissions run well. Meters show less than 300 hours since overhaul Kohler generator 2 Marine A/C units, one rebuilt and one NEW Refrigerator 2 Heads, aft has stall shower Stereo Anchor Windless Radar 2 TV's Bottom just cleaned, diver reports bottom and bottom paint in great shape. All exterior canvas should be replaced, and the back deck carpet. Helm seat are in good shape. Interior carpet is in OK shape but stained. Maybe it can be steamed cleaned. Interior dinette cushions need recovering. Forward vee has nice cushions but are water stained from hatch, maybe they can be cleaned or just recover them. You can use and/or live on this boat while cleaning it up. In nice condition this boat could list for over 60k. If you like doing cosmetics this is a great boat to consider. It is a boat, so plan on fixing this or that...I repeat, it's a boat.... If you plan on keeping the boat where it is at the slip is about $450 a month. For Sale As-Is, Where-Is Only. This is a one owner 2005 Carver 396 Aft Cabin Motor Yacht that only has 173 hours on her Volvo 370hp Diesels. She is loaded up with SAT TV, Bow thruster, Raymarine Chartplotter/Radar, Bow Pads, Upper Cockpit Icemaker, Kohler Generator and more. She has just had a full detail and her gel coat shines like new! All the vinyl is in excellent shape with new canvas protecting it from the sun. The helm has plenty of room for your travel companions, and is very comfortable with a captains chair, mate chair and full bench just behind. A wet bar with icemaker is to starboard. I am selling a 1985 29' Carver Boat Monterey 2987. I recently bought this boat from my father as an investment. Spent $3,000 in repairs to get it in tip top shape. Runs like a champ. Might need some A/C work done but other than that it's perfect. Two inboard motors, brand new manifolds. Brand new tee-top. Had maintenance done on it about a month ago and its in the water ready to go. Brand new batteries installed. Small kitchen and bathroom. Sleeps up to 4. Stereo and fm/am radio work perfect. Surround sound installed. Has a mini bar outside with a small cabinet under to keep bottles chilled. Also has a cooler in the back to keep fish and ice in. All in all a great yacht to own.
