1994 Century 21 Coronado FRESH WATER BOAT This 22 Coronado has never seen salt water!! She has a great seating arrangement with a double wide helm seat, port companion seat, forward facing seat in front of the engine box and a full beam stern seat. And there is always the engine box itself. The boat is powered by a single inboard, and the performance lends itself to water skiing, wakeboarding and tubing and just cruising the North Fork bays and creeks. She has full instrumentation, single lever control, remote spotlight, teak swim platform with a SS swim ladder and a sleek bimini top. The interior carpet and upholstery are in excellent condition. She is powered by a 330 HP Mercruiser 7.4L Blue Water Inboard Thunderbolt IV Ignition with 585 fresh-water hours. She sits on a tandem axle galvanized roller EZ Loader trailer with a manual winch, trailer-mounted spare tire and a tongue jack. She has never had bottom paint. She is in excellent condition. 1963 CENTURY GULL WING CORONADO HARDTOP SEDAN CRUISER, VERY RARE ONLY 66 WERE PRODUCED IN THIS IS HULL # 61 MOST OF THESE BOATS WERE SOLD WITHOUT THE HARD TOP GULL WING OPTION BECAUSE OF THE COST. Get ready to be noticed in this classic 1984 Century 22' Coronado "Cardel". A classic Inboard with timeless lines and Century renown quality; in original condition and a very rare color combination. In great condition and water ready with only a little over 1000 hours on the meter. Engine is a 454 Mercruiser with 340 Horsepower and it runs perfectly. A beautiful original hull with awesome gelcoat and shine. This one even has a sink and working refrigerator! Great running and handling boat includes a nice trailer. This is an unfinished project boat that has already had extensive work done but will require additional effort to complete. I have invested over $20,000.00 in the restoration to date and have all invoices detailing work performed including rebuilding and balancing of the engine, new velvet drive transmission and rechroming of most all hardware, new upholstery and many additional parts and pieces. Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE 1956 20’ Century Coronado--- I think most of you already know the Coronados were the flagship of the Century Boat Company. The first year of their introduction was 1955 with major changes occurring every two years. The 1955-56 models were the only years the boats came with the mahogany fore and aft decks. Beginning in 1957 the fore decks were vinyl. I’ve owned this boat for ten years...and actually have two of them I like them so much. This one has the Cal-Connell Cadillac engine rated at 265 HP. It is the original engine with this boat. The only change is the previous owner installed a single 4-barrel because he had trouble with the two 4s. I also had this engine completely rebuilt about 3-4 years ago to the tune of about $11k...and it runs fantastic (and is FAST). There are approximately 125 hours on the engine since being rebuilt. A restoration was completed when we acquired the boat which included 5200 bottom, chrome, A&A correct interior, flooring, W/S panels, gauges, and strip/stain/varnish/paint. It’s now been ten years and the finish is just now beginning to look a little tired, with the typical plank-seam separation. There is also one very small soft spot on the starboard sheer plank in the painted area that would be easy to fix. The interior and everything else looks in very good (not show) condition. It would not take much to make her a show condition boat though. It does need a new tack cable, but I'll provide that. It also comes on a seven year old Vanguard tandem trailer that was built for the ’56. There is less than 1000 miles on the trailer. The pix I’m showing here are only a week old, and we were in her just last weekend (my wife and I in boat). I have three Coronados and am just down sizing as we use our ’63 more than anything else. 1961 Century Coronado Gull Wing With Removable T-Tops. Current Owner Purchased The Boat In 1986. It Retains It's Complete Originality Including The Gray Marine Engine. The Original Dual Carburetors Were Replaced With a Single Barrel However The Original Carburetors Have Been Retained. The Condition Of The Boat Would Be Considered To Be Very Good To Excellent. It Was Completely Restored Just A Few Years Ago With Only Approximately 10 Hours Of Operation Time Since Then. It Had Been In Storage and/or Under Cover The Entire Time. As Is The 1960 Coronado, This Particular Year Is Arguably The Most Desirable Of All Model Years. 1960 Century Coronado (Full sliding top w/porthole) Current owner purchased the boat in 1976. At that time, it was equipped with a Gray Marine American Motors engine. A few years later, that engine developed problems so the owner replaced it with a Chrysler Marine Hemi engine with a dual four carburetor that was taken from another 1960 Coronado the owner also had purchased. That engine performed well for a number of years but a problem developed which required repair parts. At the time, Chrysler Marine parts were very difficult to obtain, and the boat was inoperable for a few weeks (in the middle of summer), while parts were obtained from distant sources. Finding this frustrating, the owner elected to replace the Chrysler engine with a new Chevrolet 454 engine and Morse single control. That replacement has more horsepower and is lighter in weight than the Chrysler hemi. Performance was improved and replacement parts are readily available at most marine service locations. The 1959/1960 Coronado had a white painted hull and surrounding rail. (Owner thought they might be trying to make the boat look more like fiberglass that was becoming vogue at the time. Just a guess) In any event, the owner thought it a shame to paint over the beautiful wooden hull. So after a refurbish, the owner had the white paint removed in order to expose the beautiful wood beneath. In that regard, this Coronado is not entirely ‘correct’ as would be defined by collectors. Additionally, the interior vinyl side panels have been upgraded with a Honduran mahogany application. Upholstery had been altered as well. The boat has a marvelous sound system with entirely hidden speakers and equipped with satellite radio. The boat has been on the cover of Classic Boating Magazine as well as the cover of the Century Boat Club Thoroughbred. The condition of the boat is very good. The bottom has been double planked and is sound. It had been surveyed for insurance purposes a couple of years ago. All the gauges, including the clock, work well as do lights and horn.
